I am currently in the process of detailing the interiors of both cars and hoping to be able to wash and wax the Z later today or tomorrow.

Our weekends are shot because of the Z.

I had to drive real slow and put up with humiliation after humiliation as car after car passed us...the ultimate insult being passed by guy in an old truck with a ladder attached to the roof!

Younger single guys..take notice!! DON"T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED!

That's too bad she does not appreciate it. My wife was ok with it. In fact she challenged me we don't take it out enough. The only problem she had was the noise and the exhaust. It was too loud for her. So, I gave her a ring........uummm ring-ing in her ears  On the passenger side, there is a supply of earplugs.

On the contrary, I think the weekends that are shot are ones I don't spend a bunch of time with the Z :icon17:

Changed my diff fluid today. Put in Mobile 1 75W90 GL compatible. Typically, the magnetic drain plug was coated with iron/steel filings just like the other pics. I didn't jack it up just laid on my back and filled first with the bottle then with a large syringe my wife gave me (she's a nurse). I used just over 1.5 quarts. I filled until I saw it run out the fill hole and then let it drain for several minutes, then put the screw back in.
I got new washers for top and bottom plugs.
Fluid was like dark chocolate and markedly darker than what I put in, which was a clear yellow color.

I drove the Z to the butcher today and picked up some amazing ribeyes. Snagged a couple of pounds of chorizo and of course beef sticks galore (which the guy had a great tip, try putting em on the grill for a couple minutes).
Grilled up the steaks and I am now fat and happy and enjoying my dessert drink or three. Life was good today.

Damn that thing is up there! How different does it feel vs the stock shifter height?

I replaced my in-cabin air filter with STP CAF7766 filter after removing the foam edges. Absolutely perfect fit and half the price of an OEM one

I removed the helper spring about a month ago. It feels OK, but man that high engagement point really messes with me, I still try to put it to the floor between shifts. I blame my polish half... I am in the same boat of eyeballin the RJM clutch pedal assembly. buy it, install it and let me know if you would do it again :icon17:

Haha, it's only like a 4-5in extention.. the throws are longer, but much easier to slide through each gear gate than stock
I had a shift extender in my previous car, so i was used to it lol
