Had to drive the Z in the rain today after I just washed it the other day. Was driving home from work yesterday morning in the truck and the drivers window fell off its track and into the door. After I realized I wasn't shot and didn't have a brick laying in my lap, I thought well the next 17 miles at 80 mph in the pouring rain is gonna suck.

Installed b2AUTODESIGNS Wheel Spacers
 
Got some spacers at B2autodesigns from Charlie and Adrian. Great folks to work with BTW.

Did 20mm bolt on's front and back on a 2012 Roster Touring with Sport Package. Used B2's 20mm spacers and had no trouble along with saving 50 or 60 bucks. AFAIK the quality of the B2 product was fine and hub centric, get back to you if they fly off .

The 19" Rays actually have a relief on the back side of the rims to accept the protruding studs. Makes me wonder if 15's would have worked on the front without requiring stud replacement, the extra 5mm is less than .2 of an inch.

20's do look good.

Leave it to the Nissan dealer to tell me incorrect information :ugh2: I was at the dealer right before driving one at COTA and specifically asked about the 6MT since the one I looked at was a CVT. Not only did the dealer tell me it was CVT standard with the Nismo, he said there were zero options for the Nismo, as it's a special package that cannot be changed. When I mentioned something at the Nismo Performance Academy they seemed to concur that the Nismo version is only available with CVT. I guess they didn't quite understand and thought I was asking if they had a 6MT to drive because all the ones they brought were CVT.

Glad you got 6MT... that is what I would want :tup:

Our Juke is a 6MT. My wife will not drive an automatic. I love her.

Dealers crack me up sometimes. Its surprisingly how clueless some employees are about the very product they sell. Awd 6spd would be :yum: A CVT shouldnt be on anything badged Nismo...

Nice! My wife doesn't know how to drive stick. She asked me to teach her, but not sure I can bring myself to subject the Z to it. That and I dont think she would follow through with it.

Don't teach her in a Z -- I made that mistake with each of my sons. It cost me a clutch, hood and filing cabinet in total.

Don't do it! The Z is NOT a good car to learn on.

My GF wanted to learn too. So, I talked her into going by Carmax to try out a Mini Cooper (she loves those). She loved it so we ended up going and buying a new one for her. Now she can learn on her own car. lol

My dad went to dealer with his dad when he was 16 back in the 60s. He test drove a manual, and after the test drive, his father asked him if he had ever driven stick before. His response: no, why? :rofl2:

Go to a variety of dealerships and see how long they'll put up with you not knowing how to drive a manual. When you stall the first vehicle ten times trying to get out of the parking spot, blame the clutch and ask to drive a different model in manual. See how many different cars they'll let you test drive. For the entertainment of the forum, please video and post here :tiphat: :icon17:

lol love the idea

My GF actually did amazing well when we went to Carmax. She never stalled once. Some of her starts could have been smoother but I was actually impressed... and she loved it.

Yeah trust me I know the Z isn't the easiest car to learn on....I learned on it haha. The test drive was awful, jerk, stall, jerk, stall, jerk jerk go......stall lol. Loved the car so much I bought....then stalled trying to leave the dealer haha. I spent an hour afterwards in a nearby neighborhood teaching myself. Should've seen some of the looks I got :D My poor Z. After two weeks, lighter clutch spring, and lowering the clutch pedal slightly, I finally didn't look like such a noob.

The Z is our only manual though. I wonder if they rent manuals? I have these free weekend vouchers from avis which would be perfect.

The only options I know of for the Nismo Juke are,

MT = FWD
AT = CVT

The CVT is not an option I would choose for this vehicle.

Paint,
Black = no charge
Sliver = $135
Pearl White = $300

We got the Pearl White at the Silver money due to a typing error. :tup:

Navigation, back up camera and Rockford Fosgate stereo is included, 18" wheels with summer rubber included, wicked awesome interior included, engine is the same as the other versions but receive a boost in power via Nismo specific ECU tune, Nismo specific exterior trim, LED DRL, etc.

Supposedly there was only 100 Nismo Jukes imported to Canada. I don't know how true that is.
