I just got back from more testing this morning, and I'm still overwhelmed by the improvement over the crappy stock clutch pedal assembly. As much as people complain about stock, I just learned to live with it - I didn't have any problems driving it smooth. Now that I have the RJM Performance clutch pedal assembly installed, I don't know why I didn't complain more about the stock clutch action. It is simply terrible in comparison. This is the assembly Nissan should have used for OEM. Hats of to Ryan for an incredible product :tiphat:

I cannot add anything to Mr. JAR's assessment. The pedal turns the car into something new altogether. Why did I wait so long to install it????

After waiting more than a year to actually purchase it (my wife finally bought it for my bday this year), after letting it sit in my garage for over 3 months, and after a less difficult than expected install, I went inside to bang my head on the kitchen counter for 15 minutes straight while bitching at myself for not doing it sooner :icon17:

Mine came with the car, I don't think on my own I would have ever spent the money for them. Ironically, every time I get in my car I smile a bit when I see them. Very cool, but subtle improvement.

I think you will like them too.

I just pulled mine out of the box and am contemplating installing it next week sometime. Hope my install goes smooth too :ugh2:

I drove out to the beach today and visited a campground I use to go to as a kid. Camping sure has changed since then :icon17: pic of the "cabins"

Went to an autocross today at thompson speedway in Ct. Was awesome because i saw the brand new track weeks from completion... But when i got home i noticed the car smelled like donkey poop. I looked around and found i blew my rear diff bushing.:shakes head:
I was hoping it was the diff fluid going out of the breather tube but the stock cover does not have one. Looks like whiteline will be getting my money here pretty soon.

I drove from Orlando to Lakeland today, had to clean the bugs off my car when I got there, then when I got back. I got it all waxed and slippery so the bugs came right off with water and paper towel. You wouldn't believe how crowded the highway I4 was on a Sunday, and still as many cars going along in a row, there were still millions of those damn bugs everywhere on ALL the cars. Some cars, the front bumper was black.

Installed
  • AAM Short Tail
  • Akebono brakes
  • Swift Springs
Had a bolt snap while installing the short tail and had to spend hours drilling through a bolt. I never want to use spring compressors again.

Currently getting a slight squeaking noise from the swift springs, but I already have a good idea what is causing it. Can't wait for them to settle in.

Washed it to remove last weekend's dirt & prepare for this weekend's dirt. By the time I wiped down the floor mats & pulled back into the garage, she was green again. Pollen season is in full swing :shakes head:
Probably time to order a duster (queue Junkman's California Duster technique) & try out a new shampoo.

Fountainhead 05-06-2014 12:16 PM

Changed my wipers, they were getting spotty and noisy. Also noted the wipers have changed styles, much better now, they are lower profile. When I got to the dealership I looked at the new Z's and noted they were different too. So the service desk got me two new ones, they go on the same way and blend in to the hood/windshield transition much better. Like!

Drove my old hyundai cause they were fixing the roads and all the stupid asphalt chips were all over the place. Didn't want to risk getting more chips...

As I was driving the hyundai, I kept thinking, what a POS. Parked it outside, went to my garage and looked at my Z and told her I missed her.:rofl2:

Also saw some dude in a 350z hit a nasty pothole and bend his rim.. poor car.

Ordered the spc camber kit to correct my rears. Looks like I only need to grind the inside edge for the toe bolts, correct?

Limeybastard 05-07-2014 08:22 PM
