Nice. Although I swear by my F.I.'s, I am a fan of Motordyne too.

Ms. Pintsize then stopped by with a sample of 80mm GT Mat and couple of squares of their new high quality butyl product  Per her advice, the butyl will go around the speakers in the doors. The 80mm I plan to use around the rear wheels and as much of the hatch as possible. I still have the sample of 50mm as well, which I am considering doing on the roof because I will probably be doing a warranty claim on my headliner - there are two sagging areas where it meets the front windshield directly in front of the driver and passenger seats :icon14:

She said something about her coolant as soon as she pulled up, so I checked it and showed her how to check it  It was below the MIN line, so we added a little bit of OEM Nissan Blue coolant as I just happen to have a 99.5% full jug of the stuff :icon17: With all my recent coolant research and experience, I know the reservoir will generally read higher when the car is hot than when it is cold, so it was concerning that her coolant read below MIN with her car fully warmed. She is going to take it to get looked at as soon as she has a chance, but the dealer that was supposed to have originally fixed her coolant leak is very suspect :shakes head:

I also gave her three of my extra LEDs and replaced her stock interior bulbs with them :)

You know..your alright in my book!

Tossed mine. It didn't foam any of the car wash soaps I have.

Mine was too expensive to just toss :ugh2: The Detailer's Pro Xtreme Foam Forumla Auto Shampoo is about the foamiest stuff I could find, and I bet it would work in just about any foam gun. When the car is really filthy, sometimes I use it to give the car a good presoak - it looks pretty cool when the car is almost completely covered in foam

I still haven't heard the F.I in person but I had heard the motordyne and figured it was a safe bet. That and I had Motordyne on my 350 and was pretty pleased with it.

A car with a early reputation for oil consumption on a date with a place notorious for oil leakage.

I think they make a happy couple. Now to get my friend to get me on the flight line to take a picture with an F16.

That would be cool. When I was in, joined as 9-11 occurred, getting a civilian car on the line was impossible. Would have been cool to line up a bunch of Z's under the wings of a B-52. (Barksdale AFB)

Today I bought a microfiber wash mitt that I will use only for my wheels

Brake dust be damned! :icon17:

I joined right after 9/11. It's still a bit difficult but not if you know folks. There are C-5s here on base. Gonna see if I can't get an F16 to see if I can back Betty up into a C5 and take the pic with her inside it. Would be cool I think.

Oh yea, as far as what I did today. We got just enough of a sprinkle yesterday to put a layer of dust on Betty. So I went and bought some polishing cloths and polished her back to her regular shine.

So Sooooooffffftttt.
