I just put dynamat all over my hatch and rear pillars. i THINK(???) the road noise is better, but it really is hard to tell. I guess I have untrained ears. Now that ive cracked the egg pulling off trim Im emboldened!

I think its time to start matting under my carpet and in the doors. I just wonder where the best bang for the weight is after one does the hatch???? (I'm considering the doors and the overhead behind the headliner.)

Drove the Z to work today (well everyday...) 30 mile commute - one way.
Gloomy and rather cold today... but staying positive. :)
Have a great day everyone!

Sweet! I see you know Rob at Z-car garage. If you have a Z, that guy is your new best buddy. He put some tune and breathing mods on my 09 and I can't believe its the same car!

Welcome to the family!

:shakes head: Should have asked me for a sample of GT Mat. Unless you did and I'm just forgetful.

Got service done the other day

Clicking i heard was an axle which they replaced for me. I also let them change my oil (RP HPS 5W 30)

Brake service etc done, seems my tires are down to 4/32 lol. Hopefully new wheels are done in a couple weeks since I'm bumping up to 285/305

Speaking of which, got this latest picture from ISS Forged of the Step Lip being machined

All we need to do is figure out the start time. Taylor is going to remove the fronts and take them to Colin's shop down the street to remove/replace the springs using his wall mounted compressor. He is doing the rears with a standard compressor.

Sounds good, the earlier the better. Will 9:00 am work for you guys? Or earlier?

btw...the bro's Z goes in for warranty work at 41k miles....extended warranty paid for itself.

The rear trans axle is being replaced......whining noise coming from the bearing at speeds 50mph plus.

Will also be picking up new 2013 euro-tuned shocks (all 8 corners) for the 2009 Z's.
