Great pics.

My Z has been in my garage the last 2 days. Nothing but rain and cool weather. The forecast calls for rain all this week. I don't drive my Z in the rain unless it is absolutely necessary.

speedracer007 05-26-2013 05:17 PM

Gave her a quick wash -- beautiful weather -- low 80s

madwi 05-26-2013 05:17 PM

that magma red sure looks good amungst that crowd :D

dmhenderson 05-26-2013 05:21 PM

I wish I could find a way to love that color. At least it's not sunburst.
Personal opinion thing I guess.

Really did want to go on that cruise but you know - opposite coasts etc.

Cloudy, dark days I wish I would have bought the new blue...but then I detail my ride and the sun shines on it and I think, wow I made a good decision. To be honest, whether it is sun shine or overcast, young and old stare and it makes me realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I am OK with that. :driving:

Two buddies from the Carolina Z Club and I cracked the Devil's Whip a few times today. Something to do while running up and down the Blue Ridge Parkway.

That dark metallic blue is the bomb. I actually like the black cherry color the best. I begged nissan to paint my car in it when I ordered it and they said "lol no" because it's not a factory color for the nismo. Kinda gay but w/e.

b15 05-26-2013 10:30 PM

Haven't driven the Z in over a week and won't have a chance until next week. :( man I miss it. Such a fun car to drive.

Latt 05-27-2013 01:04 AM

The Z has been covered up and silent since last Sunday when I drove back from Zday. Hit a few twistys tonight in the local area. Its wasnt the dragon but had a blast which I always do driving this car.

SurfDog 05-27-2013 09:25 AM

Navigated numerous laser enforced "revenue zones" on the way to work. Those popos are SNEAKY, but with the help of some well researched on board electronics and careful driving habits, Z and I zipped through unscathed.

One element Forza horizon missed when coding their game model of Colorado, was to put a speed trap every 20 miles, manned by hidden, totally unmarked, dodge charger police cars with enough speed tracking hardware onboard to rival the USS Enterprise.

Happy Memorial Day! Lets celebrate out freedom by handing out a few hundred tickets to law abiding "free" citizens of our ever increasingly fascists State. Remember we have a hugely bloated government to feed and it gets hungrier every day.

....sad. Just sad.

I think I brought back half the wildlife of the Blue Ridge Parkway with me to home. I spent this evening cleaning bugs off the front, and banged out the filters; clearing them of more bugs, twigs, raccoons, and leaves.

Finally getting tinted on Friday!

Drove it briefly yesterday after it sat for about 10days and the clutch felt a little soft. Probably just in my head since it shifted normally and it still sprung to the top like normal. Or maybe my legs bulked up with all the walking I did in Boston :)

GaleForce 05-28-2013 06:40 AM

I drove home from work and filled the tank. $90 CAD for 60 some odd liters. :icon14:

At least I was able to squeeze 350 miles from the last tank.

dmhenderson 05-28-2013 08:47 AM

How bad will my gas mileage be after the supercharger goes in? I'm almost afraid to ask.

It is directly proportionate to the amount of lead in your right foot :icon17:

JARblue 05-28-2013 09:56 PM

The Z was feeling very depressed today, likely because she thinks I'm abandoning her at the dealership tomorrow. So I left the office a bit early, and drove her through the touchless car wash I purchased last week just hours before it started raining. On the drive home, I could tell she was still unhappy, so I followed up with a full hand wash and detail when I got home. I washed her again, vacuumed all of the carpet, wiped down the interior, detailed the rims, treated the tires, wiped down all of the thresholds, and a two-step metal polish on the exhaust tips. She looks so much happier now :yum:

Yep, drive it like a prius and get better mileage than you did before. More efficient. Drive it like it should and maybe 15mpg if your lucky.:icon17:

I guess that's true.

By this time on my previous car, I'd had two (maybe three?) San Diego trips under my belt, etc.

Nothing on this car. I guess that's what makes it so depressing.

However, I didn't buy it to be a garage queen, so I need to :driving: or :gtfo2:.
