Hey guys! I am new to this forum. I am considering buying a 370z in the near future. I am left with a few unanswered questions:

1. Would you consider the 370Z and every-day car? (Getting to and from school, riding with friends, etc.)

2. Is it reliable/worth buying? (Long-term)

3. I am stuck between two colors (Gun Metallic, White), which would you prefer? Why?

Thank You for your time!

Welcome, Wiz

1. Several members daily drive the Z. It's not as practical or versatile as other options, but it is reliable. If you got one as a DD, I would recommend getting All-season tires after your stock ones wear, if it gets cold where you're at, as they come with summer tires as a stock set, and they don't do well below 40 degrees.

2. It's been fairly reliable for me.

3. I would prefer white out of those two, but just personal preference.

I drive mine daily to and from school. It's reliable again not practical. But I would select fun metallic the white looks great but with dirt and everything in not sure it would look pod if you don't wash her regularly.

The Z is a very enjoyable car, definitely DD worthy. I drive mine every day!

Mine has been reliable so far, and a lot of people are only having problems with tracking it (oil temps, brakes, etc...) if you are good to her she should last a long time

I'm partial to white, I have a huge white/black contrast fetish, so it's all about white with carbon fiber for me I was actually gonna do the MB until I saw the pearl paint, it looks beautiful in the sunlight.

I tossed up this same argument with myself before buying my Z...I was also considering the Genesis Coupe 3.8 or Camaro SS but decided Z obviously

I use it as my DD even though it pains me to watch the miles rack up

It's practical enough for my work/school(ONLINE SCHOOL) But my work is same as what i'm in school for so...

I was able to order a Zenclosure and actually researched custom audio enclosures before purchasing my Z, I've never owned a car without a system. If not for this, maybe I wouldn't have

ALL ABOUT THE TEST DRIVE FOR ME

1. Seeing you are located in California, I assume you won't really worry too much about the winter. But it's a 2-seater sports car. So you only can take one passenger.

2. Yes it's a reliable car to me.

3. I prefer white. It stands out. But the Gun Metallic is not bad at all too.

I used it for an everyday car for 2 years. 50+ miles a day. It rocks.

Never had the slightest issue related to it being unreliable. I think I'm close to 40k now, and the only thing wrong with it was the fuel gauge which was easily fixed.

We rarely get to pick anything for ourselves anymore ... I say at least have the minerals to pick your own car color.

1. My Z is a DD. I do also have a few other vehicles but the Z is my primary and I love it.

2. This is my second Z. I only have 2400 miles on my 370 but it's been great so far.

3. Gun Metal or go home! lol
