Spares for winter set up?

I was wondering if it's okay to use my spare tires with some snow tires.
Has anyone ever tried this?

so you would use one spare with snow tires? you'll be doing circles.

You cant balance the spare donut wheel because of the huge dome. If you have the sport package you would have to find a super narrow tire as the rim width is only 4 inches wide.
