Also says in a related article the current 3.7 VQ will be reworked and implemented for the new G. Sounds like DI?

Lately they're talking about more power...370z RS. Not convinced they'll do it, but glad they're leaning this way vs. smaller.

Infiniti will upgrade the v6 while nissan is looking into lighter weight powerplants. My guess is they are going two different ways. Best case scenario. The Z will have a v6 and a turbo 4. but from what i can gather. The "FM platform" chassis is going to die in the next generation. So expect the Z and G relationship to drift apart. |
