The first week I had my Z, someone yelled Zs are gay when I had my windows down at low speed. I laughed at him, because his girlfriend smacked him after he yelled it.

Someone ask me if that's the new 280

lol, well i guess its good they know what the 300Zx is....I often get "is that the new 350 or nice 350" can't blame the people who weren't drooling over the car like I was...

Worst one I ever got was "it's dirty, eeeeooooowwww!"

"Rice burner" from someone with a Honda Accord. Didn't think much of it though. Other than that other Nissan and M3 owners got good compliments.

Just the other day the drive thru window girl at MD's asked, "Hey is that a Cougar?" I responded in utter disbelief, "WHAT?!, dang if you wanted to insult me just spit on my food, but leave the car out of it." We laughed, but I cried a little inside.

I get transformer, and Ricky Bobby from my nephew all the time (he's three and uses that moniker for all race cars). I'm cool with the 350z reference considering it was my previous car. I've even had a dude (mid-late teens) throw up a heart sign as he loudly proclaimed, "he f'ing loved my car!" Tons of compliments, no real insults.

lol well then at LEAST walk over to the window and see the Z on the floor mats! lol :ughdance:

The one that drives me nuts ever since I got the car is people complain that the Z is hard to get in and out of. I just tell them STFU and their lazy! I have no problems :ugh2:

num num :yum: i believe the reason why Porsche has the design it does, is because it was designed roughly off of the Beetle design. Porsche was in either a partnership with Volkswagon or something like that....there's a connection between Porsche and Volkswagon from back in the day ( which now that i saw and read that, it makes sense... shape of the body and the headlights)

Almost everyone I know calls it my "fancy car" which I find odd. I've also gotten a lot of "aww it's so cute" type things. No, dammit, it's manly and awesome.

no, Z's are cute. just take it as a compliement. :)
