MPG Gauge - Why 60MPG???

Just a thought for later models - why does the MPG gauge go up to 60MPG? Wouldnt it be more accurate / meaningful if the max end of the gauge

Default MPG Gauge - Why 60MPG???

Just a thought for later models - why does the MPG gauge go up to 60MPG? Wouldnt it be more accurate / meaningful if the max end of the gauge was closer to 40 MPG or something....

Not that I really check my mileage since I didn't but this car because of the fuel economy, but just a thought.

on the touring nav system there is a second MPG and that only goes to 30. The one in the dash still goes to 60

I know that its instant, but its always hovering around 20-ish when cruising. I guess it can theoretically hit 60 when you coast.

Wasn't this posted a couple of days ago & now it is being reposted? I could have swore I posted a comment on this. Someone stated that it also has 30 mpg as well.

I think it's the standard Nissan display. I drove an Altima the other day with the same thing.
