Personally I wouldn’t waste my time or money on gas with this effen race. You should just show up & let him take off & you just stroll through to the finish line slowly. Your friend is clearly an idiot here. He is not even comparing apples to apples here (a 60k car vs a 35k car….hmmmm). This guy needs to go race a 1M, M3, C63 AMG, & etc (new Mustang 5.0 & Camaro SS will give him a good run for his money). That is like us Z guys trying to race a Ford Fiesta.
