I stand corrected. It's getting an Sti variant (50hp and suspension upgrades) that is NOT turbo-charged. WTF? I give that 2 years....

Yeah that's what I read. Intake/exhaust mods, raising redline to 7500, and messing with the variable valve control system should give it that 50 hp bump.

Wow! I was actually very interested in the STI version until now... Can't imagine how much they're gonna try and mark it up when it debuts.

The price will probably hit over $30k at that point... might as well just stick with the tried & true WRX Sti. This car should really start in the low $20k. It would be a smart move for Toyota to add a FI variant, not so much for Subaru which will potentially eat sales of the WRX.
