Initial bite is helpful, but making a hard stop from 75 mph would be largely unaffected. Doing the bigger brakes with SS lines, better fluid, and better initial bite would barely affect stopping distance in a significant fashion. A buddy of mine can easily lock his tires using 10 inch rotors and drum brakes. Bigger brakes only benefit in longer lasting, high heat applications, not total stopping distance. Gotta cut weight or get better rubber for that (or both).
