Yeah I think people have weird ideas about how much the Z costs. I had a coworker's boyfriend ask me how I could afford an $80,000 car.

OUCH.......I guess I am one of those "Elderly Folks" who not only remembers the 240 and 280Zs, I currently own an '09 370Z and loving every minute of it. It's getting a little harder to get in and out of it but I'm happily grinning while I'm bearing it. I get many compliments about my Z but I think the best one was from a co-worker who asked, "is that a Ferrari?" Every time I get a notion to trade my Z in for something more "practical", I get a complimet and that's all I need to hear to hang on to it.

walking out to my car from paying for gas and little kid yells over to me "Your car is swag!!!!!" I'm like "Hey thanks man!!" made my day after a long day at work.

A Black GTR pulls up next to me at a red light yesterday morning. Looks over at me, nods his head and gives me a thumbs up! I acknowledge the nod & return the gesture :tup:

When i had i locked my keys in the trunk at a Target parking lot this older black guy pulled up in his Cadillac XLR and was practically drooling over the exterior of my Z. The only verbal compliment i can remember is him repeatedly calling it 'eye candy'. haha first compliment i had received at the time.

On monday i was in Pasadena and i was walking out of a store and i had noticed this older cougar and her daughter walking in the lot, so i proceeded to get in my car but then i see them stand by my rear right quarter panel and stop, i took no notice and continued to start her up and then i look to my left and the lady is standing right in my window and it scared the **** out of me.
she then motions for me to roll down my window or get out or some ****...so i do...then, she unloads all this history of her and her first Fairlady (first time i heard someone refer to it as a fairlady) when they had just started production and how much she had loved the car. She was enjoying the car to say the least, looking at it from different angles and what not.

Made my day.

It was pretty awesome to her all of that from a woman as well. :tup:

It always make my day for some reason when young kids <13 smile, wave and give thumbs up. One of the compliments I remember most came from a pretty hot woman in her 30s, who was telling me about her first car, a red 300ZX Twin Turbos with TTops back when she used to cheerlead in highschool. Her husband meanwhile was sitting in their Toyota Corolla with 2 kids in the back seat giving me nasty looks. I can only imagine what she looked like driving that 300Z :happydance:

Being told by a real Hunk that I was as hot as my car :tup: .... yeah ok....so I'm a pushover lol! :icon17:

How can you lock your keys in, if your keys are in the car you can simply click the unlock button on your drivers door handle? :ughdance:

Just washing behind the house and a company driver hopped out his truck and said "one word, NICE! I bet its fast!" Actually the only legit compliment i think ive really had, hahah.

Just picked up some Michelin PSSs at Discount Tire and on the way out when they pulled the car up, lady next to me goes, "Mmm... I'd ride that all day". I was like O.O

One of older cougars at my work was like is that your white car parked up there? Word gets around... She also said I know how to drive stick" I said anytime

I allways get the "nice car" but yesterday i actually got "you must have a small ****"....compleatly floored me,i cracked up laughingi thought dude was playing so asked "what have you herd"???expecting somewhat of a laugh back....nuttin....he got in his truck and gave me the stink eye and took off.best complement i ever got with it!

funny enough I get asked about the Tow Hook all the time

My office overlooks a steakhouse and a PW Nismo was valeted into the corner spot on the small lot. A group of us are looking out at the lot and we watched as a valet ran out to move the Nismo to allow a Ferrari (599 I think) take the corner spot. Quite a few comments about how that "white car" looks a lot better.

Not my car but if were at Gibson's on Wednesday you were noticed.

I was in the drivethru this morning and one of the restaurant workers yells "hey! is that the GTR?" I was floored and said "Ha! I wish". He then said oh, the 370z right? That thing is sweet!" Made my day lol

My wife: "That is the best looking car you have ever owned". :iagree:

Stopped at USAF gate, "I should give you a ticket, because it looks fast"

On my first date with new GF who is 59 yrs young. I picked her up at her place in the Nismo. On the way back home that night. She said that the Nismo sounded healthy. And that she can drive a stick. Need I say more. :tup:

best compliment I received was from a woman saying she loved my car. she then posed for a pic with it and said she really wants one. :tup:

Just yesterday I was at starbucks enjoying a cup of coffee. I then notice this guy just stop his car, roll down the window, take out his phone, and takes a quick picture of my car. haha.

I was driving by the mall and I hear some girl say "wow look at that car" I was so proud of my car lol

My best compliment I have ever gotten while I was driving my car was "Hey I love your rear light, we should catch up sometime give me your number"

I was so shocked that someone noticed my rear fog light it was pretty awesome

Only had the car a few weeks so I posted a few Picts on FB! Most of the compliments were great, good luck same run of the mill. But my one friend said now I have to de-friend you that car make him inadequate!

I was driving down the road headed to lunch today and some guy in a BMW going the other way (stopped waiting to make a left hand turn) yells out as loud as they could "OMG 370z". I was like ...da fuq did I just hear?

Not so much of a compliment but ive had a few kids ask "yo do you deal drugs or something ?":rofl2: Im 20 yrs old and working construction has allowed me to buy 2 z's so far and for some reason people can't believe a 20 yr old can make monthly payments.Last night i had people in an suv roll their windows down and start taking pictures lol

^ haha I am 20 too but some people think I look like I am 16-18. I feel you though, once after parking someone randomly asked if I stole my dads car and went on a joy ride. LOL
