i agree after 4500rpm and it the right gear this car will get the job done...
i really have no problems below 4500 half the fun is getting to 4500 to 5000
by then you better be looking out for those flashing lights............

and just like anything with a turbo theres always the question of reliability, personally if i had that car i wouldnt be tuning it that amount without beefing up the internals first otherwise you are just asking for trouble in the long run

Not as reliable as Japanese but the warranty is second to none. BMWs come with factory warranty which covers turbos, drivetrain, and more up to 4yrs/50k miles or certified pre-owned warranty which also covers turbos and drivetrain 4yrs/100k miles(lasts several years if bought used or renewed after factory warranty expiration). Countless amounts of people are running tunes (up to 80+whp) tunes without issues. Better MPG is a result. Also, there are MAP levels where you can lower the hp thru the steering wheel or iDrive interface. But without warranty, the 335i is just not worth it.

Full bolt on 335i's roughly push 410whp 420ft/lb tq give or take.

The tune is also plug in play and can be taken out in about 15 min. before going to service.

obviously stock 335i, its a faster car period but im a good driver and was impressed how i matched up. Personally if wanted to go fast in a straight line i would get a used C6 Vette.

I was initially considering a 335i but bought the Z instead. I just couldn't get over the fact that the 3-series is a girls car, and well, what does that make the 1 series?

Truly though, I was in love with the 1 series M when I first saw it. And that acid orange color... I just really liked it. But I recently saw one in town, same color and all, and I really wasn't impressed. It just looked squished.

My friend's e92 M3, now that's a car I'd take over the Z. Exhaust on that beast sounds like a symphony of sex.

I guess you bought the wrong car!
Nedlesss to say the 370Z is NO 240SX.

It might not be a muscle car but the Z will get into the 80s in no time.

I felt that in the beginning of the break-in period going past 4T Rpm the engine is screaming as hell and the sound of sheering metal is pain in the ear.
But once I reached 3T miles the engine became much smoother. Torque has started to kick in at 4T rpm...going to 6T rpm was starting to ease up a bit and I tell you this car is like a Bullet Train!!!
220km/hr(140miles/hr) is just a breeze!
You will LOVE it as you go along I promise you.
