Got a 2013 gun metal grey 6mt w/sport pkg on order. Ordered over 5 weeks ago. I'll check with my dealer tomorrow to see about vin # & expected delivery date.

It's tough reading about everyone enjoying their Z's, but I guess the anticipation is half the fun!

:hello: I hear ya bus. I ALMOST bought a '12 yesterday when I went to the dealership and the sales manager told me Mid-July for the arrival. Your order is definitely in the second round of shipments. Once you get a vin it will be 6 weeks to deliver since you live in Hawaii and not main land.

I ordered a 13' from Koeppel about a month ago, only detail I have from Joe is August ETA.

LakeShow, you getting the Pearl White or Midnight Blue?

The last 4 of my VIN is 0270 was told it's one of the first built. I recommend asking your salesman to email you a copy of your order info. If your order is "ONS" it means order not serialized so another 2 weeks to get built.

Saw my first midnight blue on the street. Assuming it's not an aftermarket paintjob... AWESOME color! Wish they had it when I bought mine.

Pearl White, but I'm rather curious to see that blue in person just to check it out.

Did you order a '13? It might be an aftermarket paint job cuz no dealerships have reported a '13 in stock/sold stock.

When the '13's arrive, is this an automatic downgrade in equity for all prior years?
Just curiuos when they actually go on sale, if this is like an instant 1-2k off everyones '12 and prior Z's on top of normal depreciation?

The '12s are already at a low price and have programs which is VERY rare. I doubt they will go much lower, so just negotiate the price you want and you can get it. When my salesman told me my 13 is coming late I talked prices on a 12 sport touring and could have had it for $420/month with $2500 down.

I hear Pirates are looking for shipments of 2013 Z's.

I ordered me a PW NISMO. I'm super stoked.

Got word from dealer, my 2013Z to be shipped from Japan in late July. Has to go to California first, to get thru customs and then on to Honolulu. Probably mid August when I receive it! :tup:

Hahaha...that would suck if the Z shipments got stolen lol.

Congrats Bus!! I called up my dealer today and both my cars are still on a boat. I give up on asking every week. I'll just accept that Nissan goofed when they said June is when the 13s hit US dealerships. July 27th is my date :crying:

Dealer informed me that prior to my Z coming in, they will be receiving 2 in mid July. One's an auto and the other is a 6mt w/sport pkg in PW. Said he'll call me when it comes in to see if I would be interested in taking that instead of waiting for the 6mt w/sport pkg GMG color which I ordered.

It's possible, yours could be on this earlier shipment.

Yeah both my midnight blue and my pearl white are 6MT Touring w/Sport Packages. Tell him hands off my cars they are sold already!! lol :p

98% of dealers will TELL you the 2013 Zs are coming much later because they want to sell you a 12. And you're right about the Altimas, for some reason I see demo cars but none for purchase at the dealerships.

I see your from NY, what dealer did you order from and when exactly did you place the order? I'm apparently due for August.

Sweet packages & colors!!! Don't be surprised if your you dealer tells you, "Midnight Blue.....What Midnight Blue?......I heard one went to Hawaii" :stirthepot: LOL

It's a long story but I'm good friends with the granddaughter of a member on the board of directors so he gets me my car(s) whichever dealership is closest to my home or has an allocation. My cars are coming to the Harte Group. I got the order info February 22nd and ordered on the first day of orders April 4th. Original ETA was June 20, now for whatever reason its July 27th. Did Koeppel get you a VIN yet?

Nice man, looks like you'll be getting it sooner than me. I still have no VIN yet. Was ordered around first week of May and ETA is August sometime.

The ETA will be more certain with the VIN. I'm getting very anxious now since the convertibles are being delivered.

Ask them for container number and name of vessel carrier. Some carriers offer on-line container tracking.

Thanks, and yeah that sounded strange when I first heard it also, but I guess it makes sense. The Japanese automakers use very large ships, which are specifically set up to transport cars & trucks. These ships can hold 4,000+ vehicles and normally go back and forth from Japan to the west coast of the US.

Because 80% of our goods get shipped in from the west coast. The manufacturers can then have the few cars dedicated for Hawaii moved onto these other ships.

Thanks goodness these miles don't count on the odometer......if it did, we'd have over 5,000 miles on the clock!!! :icon17:

Actually, the more I thought about this, the more I believe Zer02Sixty is behind this odd shipping scenario.......he doesn't want me to snag his Midnight Blue!!! :rofl2:

That's a great idea but most sales managers aren't smart/caring enough to pull that information. To be honest I'm just fed up at this point I'm just gonna wait until I get "the" call.

LOL I don't know why they are reporting inventory on those vehicles, they aren't grounded in America yet. The dealer sites say "in transit".Those are probably in the same shipment my cars are in since they have vins but that's it.
