I disagree. This thread has run the same way for YEARS. Dont see the big deal all the sudden. Lame azz sh!t.

On topic, I think Ill scrape the forum stickers off my window when I get home. This place is getting to the point that I dont wanna represent it anymore

Yeah, had to repair another gasket Sunday. I think I hear it slightly leaking again already. At this point I may just buy a better set of test pipes. Ive noticed the mating surface of my CNTs isnt perfectly flat and wonder if that could be the cause. The gasket blows in the same spot everytime. I have replaced the gasket 3 times since zdayz!!!!

I know!!!! On the upside Im a freaking pro at ripping the test pipes out now and fabricating my own gaskets.

Can you grind it down flat? Like, is it a casting imperfection?

IDK if I could grind it down perfectly flat. The flange on the test pipe that mates to the header has a slight curve to it. Again, not sure if this is the prob. When its all bolted down tight it looks to be fine.

Don't do it, Alchemy. Give yourself time to cool off. We do get a little off-topic from time to time. Personally, I like the stories but we need to give an honest effort to stay on topic. Throwing something relevant in our post isn't that hard.
