next up for me would be a wide lens but it will take a while. i should be happy i even charged up my batteries for my DSLR yesterday and took some snaps. then was reminded how fuzzy my images are... :ugh2: thus a 35mm prime. :p hope it fixes my issues, all of them. :icon17: |
Ok, time to look into aftermarket side mirrors. I think I hit a kid back there...:ugh2:

In all seriousness though, both mirrors block a good portion of my front view. I've nearly been clipped by another car because I entered an intersection not being able to see them. Seat mod won't help completely so aftermarket is the next best option. Anyone have recommendations that aren't as pricey as the Craftsquare version? |
hey pint- check with jordo as he was doing something with his mirrors.

I think MR. Spohn also had a cheaper alternative on his. Maybe he will chime in or I'll PM him later. |

lol, i was also looking for SPOHN's pict. he did to racing mirrors but not sure which brand. i saw it on his albums page a while back. |
hey pint- duh, i looked at one of spohn's post... spohn's sig says "APR CF Mirrors." :icon17:
i can't find a listing on their site for 370z's though. he probably had the base fabricated. APR Performance - Formula GT3 Mirrors |

so wat i started doing is installed flourescent twisty bulbs with photocell premounted in my porch and driveway exterior lamps and use that as my lighting. it actually works pretty well with the network camera. the image is on the grainy side but i can still see who it is and wat's happening in the middle of the night if needed from my droid. :p the camera is mounted inside the window. during the day the image is no problem. i have it setup so it sends me email with attachment of the pict when motion is detected. :) i can see in real time too from my droid using a IP camera app i bought. there's better ones out there with night vision if you check amazon. just search network camera. :) |

and my question to her was... ummm...wat's in the server that's SOOOOO important? and she teased 'well there are picture of you sleeping butt-naked that i took somewhere in the server...do you want the world to see this ken-san?' um.... no? :ugh2: :wtf2: Quote:
and while the network is wireless, the camera still needs power so it's not entirely stick-on-a-wall-and-walla deal. :icon17: some planning and trial/error is needed. |
