Nice shots

Mosport is a really cool track. Like a roller coaster.

Yeah Gale, those are good guys. My Nismo rims came off the #51 car. Greg Shaeffer has kept in touch ever since and has taken care of a couple of my buddies at St. Pete and Long Beach.

We need some pictures of mini-Gale.

That's cool! My wife even says to me, "wow are those guys ever down to earth". We tried to stay out of their way and mostly spoke with Dustin from Z1 Motorsports and one of the mechanics, I didn't get his name... I was surprised he came to talk because they had some major repairs to do.

Great day

Yeah, I love the elevation changes on this track. They are trying to get Indy car to do a race here. I'm not sure how that would fly because the Toronto street circuit has a good following.

My favourite place to take pics is at Moss corner 5b. It's a slightly uphill, has a cool back drop, great action. Most shots today were at corner 1 and 10.

Morning gents! Heading to Corpus today but not in the Z. Enjoy your lazy Sunday!

bbigby64 06-24-2012 07:21 AM

Good morning, Pint and everyone. :hello: Pint, have a safe trip.

My wife and I will be entertaining my sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and their 2 daughters today. They arrived last night around 11:00 pm. The girls, 7 and 10, were asleep when they arrived so their parents put them straight to bed. I don't hear any peeps yet out of them this morning. Now, I have to get up and start the day.

I'm still bumming about my Z. I cleaned her up real nice on Wednesday and then took her out for service on Friday morning, not knowing that rain would come. Now, she's dirty, especially in the back where muddy water kicked up on her a$$. :shakes head: Oh well ... such is life. I look forward to the next detailing.

I also ordered a Dr. ColorChip repair kit this past week. It should arrive this week, just in time for my vacation. :happydance: I gotta repair those annoying chips on the hood, robbing my Z of some of its coolness.

Warmed her up properly, then drove her around the block and parked at my neighbour's house so I can water my lawn.

MACSIMIZER 06-24-2012 07:57 AM

Drove four and a half hours to Z1, picked up wheels and spacers drove home and installed. Still have to install front spacer, didn't bring the right tools home from work. The wheels will be black in a few weeks. Also have a set of Nismo springs to install that will drop her another half inch.

I actually like the orange wheels. Just not with the red brakes.

I suppose it's an acquired taste.

I usually don't like Halloween-themed cars, but after seeing one after another of the "murdered" look, a pop of colour is refreshing.

Hi mr.gale, thanks, I had a great drive. filled her up and QD'd when I go her home. :p

I tried setting the GoPro so that the dead center of the screen points at the top of the 3 gauges. Hopefully this improves the washout I've been having. Sucks that I loose the shifter in the shot. I can see only the top of the knob and have more ceiling... this is only for sunny days though. Cloudy days I can point as usual. Will find out how my shots look later. :p

If you had some green somewhere it'd be like United Colors of Beneton! :)
