Got to drive my Z most of the day so that was awesome. Local performance shop had an open house...got a decent deal on a new HJC Helmet

http://i720.photobucket.com/albums/w...ion/b_side.jpg

Hopefully I do some more Time Attack this year, did it once and pretty much hooked on wanting to see what my Z can do, plus $10 for 5 laps on Sunday nights can't be beat

Drove the wife to dinner tonight, mom has the baby till tomorrow....woot

Went to watch the movie TED, freaking funny, and tons of F-bomb, but it's a nice movie overall with lots of laugh, :bowrofl:

Actually spicy peel and eat shrimp for her, and a blackened grouper filet for me! I LOVE seafood! It helps when you live on the coast and it's always super fresh. :)

We went to see Ted a few days ago. It was much funnier than I thought it was going to be. :icon17:

:hello: Beautiful Z people! Just got home from my sister's wedding and reception. It was a wonderful ceremony (brief :icon17:) and excellent reception at the Bob Bullock Museum of Texas History  Tomorrow morning is post-wedding brunch followed by caravan down to Port Aransas for the 45th anniversary of our annual family beach trip :D

I'm quite behind on the posts, and that just figures to get worse while on vacation this week. So I am not bothering to catch up, and I will not apologize for not doing so while I'm enjoying time with great people in a great location with great drinks. :happydance:

However, I'm sure substituting family with a number of people on this forum would equate to an equally great time, and I will even allow Diet Pepsi to be considered a great drink for the occasion

happytheman 07-08-2012 01:30 AM

Very nice, sir! Enjoy your vacation and your family. They are much more important than we are! See ya when you get back. :)

Don't sell yourself short Mr. Happy :tiphat: I need a well pampered machine to drive me to and from work. Y'all motivate that to happen

Good morning guys. I'm streaming the F1 British Grand Prix. Gonna clean the apartment afterwards and then head out to a local gun shop to inquire about ordering a new toy. :)

Today, nothing. And tomorrow, and the rest of the week. The WORST thing about the family vacation is I am hanging out here at the beach, and my Z is home alone in the garage. :(

I told the wife yesterday, just after we arrived at the beach, that I missed my Z already. She just rolled her eyes at me. She just does not understand.

onzedge 07-08-2012 08:42 AM

OK, OK, just a few more here from Friday's show:

1) dumbarse prius driver suddenly stopping in the middle of a 45mph road just to watch some stupid swan masterbate in a swamp next to the road. or watever the bird was doing it was interesting to the stupid prius driver.

2) midwest middle aged fat-woman almost broad sided my Z in the wooded area with her flapping belly with uncontrolled up and downward motion due to her attempted jogging(?)...use a damn treadmill for crying out loud! oh, you broke that too?

the rest of the drive was relaxing and fun. :p QD'ed afterwards... also washed my Fit.

Wife and kid are at a wedding shower, trying to speed through some cleaning so I can go motor the Z on this sunny day. Making a list of useless errands I have to do...that happen to coincide with nice roads/streets :driving:

I am reminded of one of my favorite movie lines. It comes from Animal House and goes like this:

"Son, fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life."

spent 75 bucks at the pump. (I hate Kalifornia)...

On the up side, driving the San Fran streets in a real car is a blast, and the Prius goons hate my (soon to be Berked) exhaust note. I like to goose the gas a bit just so I can watch them scowl at me with that same revulsion that a preacher looks at Ozzy Ozborn with.

I can almost hear their sanctimonious little minds trying to think up some laws to pass to try to make everything awesome about my life illegal.

(note: I know that not all pious drivers are: 1. tools, 2. Sanctimonious, or 3.Pelosi-loving freedom-hating democrats. But here in the city by the bay, the odds go way up!)

Please excuse my Libertarian Z-car loving ways. I promise I'm not a hater, just a bit frustrated by San Fran regulatory over-reach.

Also, please don't judge me too harshly for putting HFC's on my car *primarily* because its illegal and I am utterly in contempt of such nonsense regulation.
