Looks like it was a great turnout Mr Onzedge. Did you enjoy your first gathering?

Why does Colin appear to be chewing his lips off?

Good morning everybody! :hello:

Was going to go to one of the Disney waterparks this weekend, but it doesn't appear to be in the cards for me. Oh well, we'll go the beach anyways.

LunaZ 07-07-2012 09:17 AM

Awesome pics onzedge!

Cued up some fast paced EDM and drove the car accordingly.
Don't think the Saturday morning Costco crowd was ready to run at my pace. One guy even told me I was #1 LOL!

It was nice, but some of the Ricer 350 guys caused some trouble at the end with their 3,000 watt stereos and engine revving through their fart cans. Otherwise, it was cool.

Note to self: your car WILL come back with hand prints all over it. I have no idea why parents let their kids put their grubby little paws on other people's stuff. Oh well.

Also, there were a few roadsters next to me and some guy just jumps in one of them. I mean over-the-door style. Unbelievable.

Colin was goofing in that shot. I have no clue why he does what he does. Too bad that the paternity test came back last week and he really is mine. :icon17:

I just don't get that at all.
One time I had my bike parked in front of a coffee shop and a dad and his toddler approached my bike for a closer look. No big deal until I saw the toddler reaching out to cop a feel of my exhaust. I was sitting on a bench near by and I blurted out "careful, don't touch!". My concern was for the child burning himself on a hot exhaust but the dad thought I was being unnecessarily protective of my bike and got in my face to tell me that his son wasn't going to hurt anything, he just wanted to see the bike.
What ever happened to seeing with your eyes, not your hands? Of course, if I had said nothing and the kid burned himself, that would have somehow been my fault.
America, fu$k yeah. :ugh2:

Morning fellas! :) Mr. Onze, thanks for the car porn, I will now be busy for the next few hours. :p

Taking the Z out later for a drive.

A few hours? Either you're really bad at it.....or on the other hand (fingers, and etc.) you may be really good! :rofl2:

Good morning Miss Pint. How are things going in your neck o' the woods?

Dad took offense, but you cannot be blamed for trying to protect his offspring. I would have done the same thing. Oh well. :( Points for trying my friend.

kenchan 07-07-2012 09:47 AM

Nice picts, mr.onzedge!!! thanks for sharing.

Yah, I hate dumb parents. My kids are taught never to touch anything unless specifically allowed, but other kids touching everything and their parents not saying anything brings out the stupid in my kids as well. Obviously if I was present my kids would ask me first, but when I'm not I'm not 100% confident my kids are following my rules. Its like every time they go to camp or day care, they come home stupid.

If that was my kid I would've told my kid 'hey don't touch other people's things, ok?' and my kid would've replied 'i know dad, I just want to check out his cool bike.' And I would ask luna if it was okay for my kid to check out his bike.

Lets not create more stupid. There's plenty of them already. :ugh:

GaleForce 07-07-2012 09:54 AM

For those who are trying to get caught up on the thread this morning... To summarize,

Nice clothes and fancy shoe collections

Turbo 370z

Rubber valve stems

LED light mods

Cool car show pictures

Cool race bike pictures

Cool iPhone pictures

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Motored my Z this am and QD'd afterwards. Was hot but cool inside. :p. Lots of slow drivers this am... I just kept my distance and opened her up when it was clear. :p

I checked my work from last night in the sun this am. Yah, I will give  to clean tires with sprayon carwash. :D I'm glad I tried this.

Good morning, mr.gale! :hello:

Good morning Mr.kenchan :hello:

I'm living through your Z driving experience this AM. Major rain here. Good for reducing temperature and good for the grass, but bad for Z driving.

What do you use for waterless wash? I usually use ONR.

Hi guys. Slept good last night  Going for a short drive in the Z(L1) today. Have to pick up a couple things. Going to take my sister and 2 of her tribe to Darien Lake later this month. It's hard getting these break in miles off my car :driving:

Good afternoon Everyone!! :tiphat: :tiphat:

Looks like there're lots of good stuffs around us these two days... just like what Mr.GaleForce has summarized,

Mr.onzedge, on the meet and pictures!!

Rained this morning, not too much, just enough to dirty my car... :shakes head:

Mr.kenchan, :iagree: on the kids stuffs, some parents just don't say anything, I believe they are either too laid-back to teach their kid(s) or they've given up :shakes head:

Hello Mr.GaleForce, Mr.happytheman, Mr.Fire, Mr.LunaZ, Mr.kenchan :icon17:, Mr.gurneyeagle, Ms.Pintsize725 and Everyone!! :hello: :hello:

To those whose thinking about changing the Map light to LED, I would suggest you click here, I write a description on how to properly remove the plastic cover, I remove the driver's side one following the instruction in the Z manual, and it tends to dent the black plastic 'frame' by the tool, I found a much better way to remove it... please click the link...

Griots makes a fine product for waterless washing. Buy it by the gallon.

Good Day All! :hello:

No Coffee and Cars this morning; picked-up mrs. gurney's new CR-V this morning. Got a new toll tag and a blind spot mirror too while I was out. After getting home, programmed the radio, set-up the nav, and paired her phone. Gotta admit, it's a nice little car, and fits way better in the garage than the MDX.

Probably no Z action this weekend; the mrs. and I are entertaining some Aussies from work.

Great pictures mr. onzedge! Has ms. pint ever resurfaced from her................uh.................self-reflection? :icon17:

Have a great weekend all! :tiphat:

happytheman 07-07-2012 01:49 PM

Self reflection!! Thats awesome! Well stated, as always, Mr. Gurney!

Fire 07-07-2012 02:00 PM

OMFG Just got thru the WORST weather I've ever been in, yes I was in my Z(L1). It was raining sideways and trees crashing everywhere. Only lasted about 10 minutes but WTH. No damage to me or the Z(L1).

happytheman 07-07-2012 02:08 PM

I'm guessing you would do better in the twisties than Steve!

Glad you escaped unscathed!

sorry to hear about the rain. :( i remember just last week we had that 90mph storm that spewed water inside the house from the windows. :ugh2: hope rain is nice and just waters the grass and lowers temps!

for waterless wash i use Griot's SprayOn CarWash. for the tires i just sprayed onto some paper towels and wiped. i suppose you can take an old soft bristle tooth brush, spray product onto that, and agitate around the lettering. i shall try that next time around. i got 99% of the grime off though with just paper towels. and with the fresh dressing, i can't tell i missed anything. :p

hi mr.alcheng! sorry to hear about the rain just enough to dirty your car. i hate it when that happens especially if sun comes out afterwards to leave water stains. :ugh2:

i think it has to do with culture too. these indian kids in my neighborhood have zero adult supervision. parents dont say anything even if their kids are screaming and screwing around, peeking into parked cars in the visitor's lots putting their greasy hands on the glass, cutting through people's yards with their bikes, playing on people's driveways, etc. etc. etc. it is insane. :icon14:
