i asked my wife if she ever used it. she said no. lol the only time i use is downshifting with a slight blip to rev-match. but still, once it's in the lower gear the torque converter just slips to a sloppy ugly mess. :ugh2: |

well not the Z but I got fresh tires (ouch on the wallet) and a wash for the truck! Found out I have a cracked rear wheel to.. thank god for a lifetime warranty from KMC. This truck is NOT a pavement pounder ;)

I've been desperately trying to determine the source of an annoying ticking sound that comes from my dash when I get over 4000rpm. I think it might be something wrong with the RPM gauge inside the gauge cluster, because the ticking speeds up in rhythm as the RPM rises, and it's DEFINITELY not coming from the engine. I'm hoping its just a faulty gauge cluster assembly - looks like an easy replacement.
|
is it a tick or a rattle..? are you running stock exhaust?
|
watever it is, that sounds annoying. :icon14: hope you get a replacement soon, tanooki. :)
