JAR - I'm heading back out to 1431 this coming Sunday if you want to tag along. I swear I'll use cruise control and granny it this time. I'm also planning on having a co-pilot. Heading back down to Lime Creek and then to Brickhouse Tavern for lunch. You in? Time frame would probably be about 10am - 4ish. Meeting for lunch around 2.

hey any of you driven the cube? is it anywhere 'decent'?

ive seen a few rolling around in my area and it looks like a fun car but it also looks pretty stupid at the same time. im in the last phase of deciding which hatch to go with (will not be selling my G or Z btw). if i dont want to spend money on this pos dd, would a cube be a good candidate? something cheap in 18K range (new).

if i do spend some cash, it will be a new MS3 or GTI 5door. and i will be buying cash.

I'm definitely down for the cruising. My wife has her CPA exam the day before, so who knows what kind of condition we'll be in. I suspect she'll want to sleep in, but maybe I can convince her to ride along. If she doesn't come along, I'll probably skip out on Brickhouse, but honestly, we've wanting to check it out anyway. I'll check with her and be in touch. Work is still crazy, so I was just on this morning to spread some rep and send a PM.

Just let me know. Hopefully my co-pilot doesn't bail on me. I'm not planning on going all the way to marble falls, maybe halfway down 1431 so that we have time to hit lime creek. You can lead as I'll be granny driving it. :)

I have heard that its stereo is pretty good. Handling and power are poor.

Juke. I drove into the office today -- I very much enjoy it.

If your co-pilot and my wife don't make it out, we could ride together in mine if you like. I won't be granny driving unless you're following, and maybe it would give a better opportunity to do some video for folks who haven't been out that way. But of course, half the fun is just being behind the wheel, so I'm with you if you still want to drive yourself. :driving:

Hmm....let me think about it. Might need to take you up on it depending on funds.

Added up my ticket cost: $325 with change.
