Had another motoring day yesterday with 4 other 370z and a zr1 vette. I must say that zr1 is one fast car and Sounds amazing in stock form.

hey alchemy- im going to use it for many things such as cluster, pedals, rear view, front view but up on the dash, rolling shots from another car, etc while keeping the current one in place. :p

as for the mic im using the tascam digital audio recorder as my input meter and preamp. i can record on the recorder while also recording audio in the gopro, or just use record-standby on the recorder and it will just send audio to the gopro.

im thinking of other ways to mount the recorder too this week using a DriftHD /gopro conversion mount thingie. :D

morning pint :hello: .... zzzzzzz....

yah, over the winter i think im going to take some servo's i have from my RC car parts bin and make a panning platform. it'll be just one channel/one servo and will pan left/right from a simple joystick. this way i can take side shots and stuff. :p

talking of joystick, i saw that my knob is delayed. stuck in customs or something. :icon14:

We were having some spirited runs (private roads ;) of course)
He passed me but went in front too close to me all you saw the entire time he was driving was rocks and dirt flying from his tires. Its OK Dr. Color chip will come to the rescue!

Mine has more than enough. I see how obsessed some of these guys are with detailing and can only imagine the :shakes head: Id get if they saw my car in person. I think the rock chips on my front bumper alone would send Ken into cardiac arrest.

Long ago I used to freak out about that stuff... these days... I don't care. I still detail and try to keep my cars clean, but I'm not overly concerned with battle scars from my spirited drives. Adds character and you can tell that I actually drive the sh1t out of my cars. :driving::driving:

I agree. At first it drove me nuts since this is the first brand new car I have owned but Im way over it at this point. Id rather DRIVE my car than worry about whats gonna happen to it.

My idea is if it gets to a point where its too many chips ill have the whole bumper repainted. Until Then ill enjoy the spirited runs. :D

The harder part will be taking bugs off the windshield and bumper that were blitzed at triple digit speeds
