hahaha, i have the normal TWM typeR in satin in my G right now and it feels great. the satin finish actually keeps the surface cooler than normal stainless or mirror (hot  finishes).

the big type-r is only considerably bigger, not HUGEGANGOUS looking at the picts, i think. :icon17: i got the standard brushed stainless one for my Z. :p

the PWJDM was fine until i mis-shifted the other week when the rear of my Z spun out about 65degrees requiring a 120 degree counter and i was trying to get into 2nd gear when the knob slipped out of my hand causing me to spill- water-from-the-cup which is a big fail. :ugh2: it was an abrupt recovery from a drift and i did not enjoy it one bit. i blame it on the knob. :stirthepot:

HAHA blame the knob! :roflpuke2:

It certainly will get hot here in TX in the summer, but my hands are pretty heat tolerant from working in a kitchen for many years (I try to keep up that ability by handling hot stuff on a regular basis - like grabbing the exhaust tips with both hands after a spirited drive ;)). If I really need to, I am considering purchasing some driving gloves to keep in the car since my hands tend to get sweaty when I'm holding onto the steering wheel or shift knob for an extended period of time. Its more when I'm taking a trip out of town than during DD. I haven't decided if it makes me pretentious or just lame, but I figure if its for the purpose of better maintaining the leather surfaces my hands touch, then its perfectly acceptable.

i use tein's mechanic gloves on occasion which are partcially suede and great for driving. the spin out came quick and i was prepared for it, but wasnt expecting the knob to slip out of my grasp. never once have the TWM knob (or even the stock Z knob) slipped out of my hand. so i blame the knob. :icon17:

:tiphat: I certainly can't imagine the TWM Desert Eagle slipping out of my grasp.

Its ergonomics fit precisely with how I like to hold the shift knob the majority of the time.

Funny you should ask. I was talking to Melody about this and she said she didn't want me to put any decals on the Z still. But she said I could put them on the Acura :icon17: I'm not sure what to do except put them on both cars
