Nice job, Mr. Macsimizer.

Thanks, first week with the orange wheels and have had more people stopping to talk to me, giving thumbs up and wanting to race me than the first year and a half of owning the car.

Went to a Little League game yesterday, with my Z and my wife, to watch our grandson play in the finals of the local Little league championship. He is ten, pitches and plays shortstop and is one of the smallest players on the team.

The lead off pitcher for his team, Thunder, allowed three runs and was taken out with no outs and the bases loaded in the very first inning.

Poor kid suffered the greatest embarrassment a young man can suffer. His very loud mother kept yelling his name and shouting advice from the sidelines! There is no single humiliation greater than being a young boy and having your mother making her presence known, especially by loudly calling your name! (Mothers take a hint!) Probably destroyed his concentration...and emotionally scarred him for life as well!

My grandson came in to pitch. He threw nine pitches and got three outs to retire the side!( That's "Old Hoss" pitching..to those of you that know what I mean!)

He pitched a few more innings and held the Rattlers scoreless but there are rules governing how many pitches these youngsters can throw so in the fourth inning he was taken out.

Thunder, his team was ahead but the Rattlers fought back. In the bottom of the ninth it was 7-5, Thunder, but the Rattlers scored one and got the bases loaded with no outs threatening a tie then a win. Then one Rattler stuck out and another hit a pop fly to center that was easily caught.

Next batter got a full count of three balls and two strikes. Then he hit fast ball in the vicinity of the shortstop. My grandson made a fast diving move and caught the ball inches from the ground getting the final out and securing the championship!!

What a night! Doesn't get much better than this!

Mr.RiCharlie, Congrats on your grandson championship!!! It feels as exciting and intense as a MLB!!

I think it is the one too, just have to make sure the measurement is right then you are good to go.

I google Acorn lug last night and I sure they are the same type. :icon17:

Good Morning Mr.onzedge, Mr.kenchan, Mr.Steve, Mr.GaleForce (is he still sleeping-in because of the 2 beers from the BBQ yesterday?? ), Mr.Diablo3, Mr.ZMan8, Mr.JARblue and everyone!! :tiphat:

:hello: Morning Y'all

Woke up feeling better than expected. Had a good bit of rain last night and some more this morning. From the posts, it looks like a few people made it out to the Z meet, but probably not the turnout had it not been raining. Z is safely in the garage :icon17:

Fixed the 5.0! It was not what I originally thought and was easy to repair. Glad I parked it and drove the s2000 until I had the chance to sort it out, though.

true and didn't know what they are called.

Well I was talking more about where the tire is contacting on hard turning. There's little triangle arrows that point to where it should be, on most sport tires

Wtf major stormage... rain from the side 65mph winds seepage into house from the tall windows.

Had about half a bucket of water collected with my towels from the window sills and floor. :ugh:
luckly my power did not go down thanks to eating snacks earlier. Oh wait, power to the house did not go down so have several fans running. Should be all dry by evening. Disinfected the sills and floors.

Rainy Cars and Coffee in The Woodlands this morning, but we had eight Z's show-up. Since our cruise got washed-out, we saw the movie "Ted".

Stupid hilarious. If you are a "Family Guy" friend, you'll love it.
