Fire 08-09-2012 11:45 AM

Alchemy you have to fix that. I think you need a metal gasket.
Alcheng looking into spending the 1st weekend in Sept in Canada. Are you up for a get together?

A.D.D.Andy 08-09-2012 11:47 AM

I washed, clayed, and waxed... drove to dealer today to get my radio replaced ... down pour .. never fails.

This child is a great wingman for getting chicks. He was riding his bike for the first time while I jogged along side ready to grab him by the scruff of the neck. We met two attractive gals in sports bras and spandex. I told them this is his first time riding. They stopped to see and chat for a minute. They walked off and we rode in their direction. I told him to go left of them and instead he skidded to a stop by back peddling right next to them and they stopped to talk some more.

I told him to let me know if he was going to stop suddenly and he replied he just wanted to look at the ladies again (with their exposed midriffs). F*** YEAH! I could not be more proud of him. Berkley is losing their war on him. ;)

You can get a crate engine that will fit the bill.

You can get one for about $3500. That isn't bad compared to my 750 HP build at about $10,000.

A.D.D.Andy 08-09-2012 12:14 PM

Fastburn 383 crate motor, plus hot cam and 1.6 roller rockers = zz430 crate motor ... 430 hp with aluminum heads... put one in a 69 Vette ... car still running strong in my cousins hands with 60k miles on it.

Mr.Fire, I have proposed a meet on the 3rd of Sep, which is a long weekend Monday.. it will be like an end of summer cruise.

Otherwise, we will hook up with Mr.GaleForce and there are couple Z guys in Toronto we can get together!!!

I'm thinking of naming my Z(L1) Back N' Black. Cause it is black and I had a 1985 Camaro that I had painted black after the factory silver developed dark spots all over.

mr.gale- ahhh, you're shipping the valves. so you're running 275/35/19 on the rear? after running 285/35/19's, i think my future sets for the Z will be this size for the rear.

 nice, ms.pint! :hello:

fire-so when you need to water your grass you just back your car out.

I'll be running 305/30/19 rears and 255/35/19 fronts. Not the best set up for extreme performance, but these wheels are more for show than go. I think I'll keep my stockers incase I do the occasional track day... Or sell them (the stockers) and get a square 18" Volk TE37 setup for the track... We'll see, I have a lot on my plate for the Z right now, track days aren't even a thought right now.

The roads are wet today so I'm doing some e-shopping. I'm considering buying some fancy race ramps today...
