Yup  The wife won't be coming along; do you know if you've got a passenger? If not, do you want to take 1 or 2 cars?

I will have a passenger (so far he's confirmed) so you can lead. I'll be going slooooooow. We should decide on a turn around point. I wanted to hit Lime Creek on the way back down to 183.

If the passenger bails, I'll decide on riding with you. Would be cool to get video for the guys interested in driving it.

For the rest of the Board - ms. pint took the Houston guys on Lime Creek Road last Saturday, and it's the closest I've come to driving the canyon roads around L.A.! Hopefully, they can shoot some video for everyone.

What?! Aren't you the kind of guy who gets a whole new wheel delivered because of a little scrape?

Besides, I have 16,000+ miles on my stock Potenzas (DD and autocross) and almost down to wear bars.

lol, yah, but a nail puncture is nothing like a scrape on a wheel. :icon17:

definitely sounds like time to swap them out.

I'll take a look at the map for good turnaround point. Video would be great. I'm going to inquire about borrowing a GoPro from a friend (I think he said he had one).

I'm pretty sure he was shut down by then.

When we return, there will be at least three or four gopros rolling.

Here's one of this year's runs north of Houston:

Have you tried z1motorsport gaskets? They claim to fix all issues.

Looking into air, so i dont have to use ramps in my driveway.

Looking into air, so I go over a speed bump a little less crooked.

All if the car doesn't sell before I get another job. :ugh:

oh craps, sorry to hear, mr.alchemy. :( is the header shaking too much at wot? almost sounds like it needs brackets welded on to minimize movement.

this olympus stereo mic on gopro hero2 = pretty good.

still has the faint AGC repetitive clicking noise floor in very quiet passages (completely gone when i use tascam), but for normal recording especially for car with exhaust, i think the audio can overwhelm the faint clicking noise. it is at least 3dB louder and more dynamic than the real sony mic...

so looks like i need to buy another dead cat cause the olympus is smaller damn... lol i will see if my wife can give me some cloth to lessen the gap inside the windcutter.
