Just so damn Hot that I have to do it early...

Gotta go exercise, and I will check in later..

Start a list of goals you want to achieve this year...Just a small one. It will get your mind focused..

I have to , otherwise I see something shiny and go"oh look, something shiny", and I forget what I am doing.

And try to eat right...I found the worse I eat, the more depressed that I got...

I have been working out of my funk too..So far so good...

My main issues are that I don't enjoy doing things alone. I hate it, I fear it. But I suppose it's time to get over that if I intend to be truly happy with anyone else in the future. I'm going to look into going back to school, might pick up a second job to help me and going to look into branching out beyond my comfort zone and making new friends. But I don't want to weigh this thread down with all my personal stuff. :icon17:

You need to be happy with yourself first. "Be comfortable in your own skin" is advice I have been given repeatedly by many folks in my life and I believe it to be true.

Lame that you need a license to own/buy. Constitution is your license.

There are many in power who seem to think that the Constitution is meaningless. Shame on them and God Bless America.

:iagree: but this state is horrible with gun laws. I'm not sure about other states but here When You do buy a gun, after showing the license, you.must then wait 72 hours from.time of purchase To actually take possession.....

This is for handguns, shotguns are 24 hours.

Watched "John Adams" marathon on July 4, reminded me of what this country was founded on. It's a shame that we've lost our way so badly. Admittedly, even the original constitution was imperfect. That's why it has been amended so many times. But many of the basic tenets are still vital today :usa:

I hijack more threads, than a Cuban hijacked planes in the 1970's...

Mmm..Comfortable in your own skin...More comfortable in the Interior on the 370Z..

Every time I open the door, I think damn that ain't no 350Z.

no DVR attached as i dont feel like looking at footage of birds and leaves blowing in the wind. i have it setup to record using motion detection. it sends me a snap shot photo with time mark + camera stores the footage for like 30sec or so unless more movement is detected.

it's a wireless to network system. :)

the previous system i had was more of a small-business type with a dvr and while it was great since i only needed to setup one IP for the entire system, it wasn't as flexible as i was stuck with the cameras i got with the system...and their cameras were too SECURITY CAMERA looking.

the current network cameras is just a white box about 3x3". unless pointed out you can't see it from the outside of the house. :p

Basically, someone will need to "unlock" our garage door opener codes (good luck) or smash the crap out of the garage doors themselves (again, good luck), and do all this with my nosy neighbours watching them.

Having said that, I would like 2 cameras. One to monitor my front entry, and one keeping an eye on our fenced in backyard... Just cuz. ;)

hi mr. gale. :hello: yah, no man door is a great idea. ive heard vandals usually break-in from those doors vs the garage door. honestly, i dont think one can actually break through a garage door unless they can wirelessly steal your code.

my security system also works on backup battery power and auto-dials via traditional landline separate from power, so it's pretty fail safe.

I just walked in, found what I wanted, filled out the sales forms, waited ~15 minutes for my background check and went on my way. And I don't really even like the background check because then you end up in a criminal database.

In VA you can buy either from a dealer with an FFL or from an individual in a cash transaction. No background check required for the face-to-face purchase. But I'd rather buy from a dealer to get new, warranty, not shot by the seller, etc. :icon17:

hey congrats, dembflyr. is this your first kid? if so, new dads-to-be do crazy things sometimes out of excitement. remember, being a dad is an addition to your life, not a replacement.

you might want to keep your Z and get a dd you can carry your new baby in. enjoy being a dad and yourself. take it from a dad with 2 kids.

Thanks Kenchan. Yes this is my first biological child. My wife has a 8 year old that I consider my own. He loves driving with me in the Z and was devastated that I am selling. :(

I did not come to this decision lightly and actually my wife was dead set against it.

There are many factors in my decision. Not just the new daddy factor.

I will be back in a Nissan/Infiniti at some point..... Maybe a 2015 Z?

Oh, I dont mind gun talk, actually. I have guns and I use them... although Mrs. LunaZ says I don't need any more people guns because I'm not using the ones I currently have.
Me looking at an MP-5 at a show: "I need this."
Mrs. LunaZ: "What's that one for?"
"It's a tactical entry weapon."
"So, not for squirrels?"
"It could be, but it's more of a people gun."
"You don't need any more people guns."
"Sure I do!"
"How many people guns do you have now?"
"Well, any of them would work on people, but the ones I wouldn't take hunting? Four."
"And how many people have you shot?"
"Ummmm..."
"That's what I though. You're not even using the people guns you have now, so what are you gonna do with another one?"
I can't argue with her accountant's logic.
But anyway, I digress. I don't post about my views on guns or gun laws on the interwebs because it has a tendency to get heated. I've lost friends over internet arguments about gun control. Ah, Democrats.

Obvious solution: go shoot people so you can buy your MP-5. :stirthepot:

disclaimer: only shoot people where it is considered legal. To do so otherwise is not a good idea.

I am trying really hard to do this. You guys don't understand how bad I get anxiety in social settings. I constantly feel judged and have very low self confidence. Being on my own just brings up all these questions like "Who would want me if the ex didn't?" or "Why would anyone want someone ugly?". Sorry for throwing my issues out there again. Back to gun talk?

hey pint- social setting...you're probably just worrying too much. a big smile and good attitude goes a long way.

but if you're not into big crowds (im not either lately, especially ones that are loud, with young folks ..they tire me too much :ugh2:) just dont attend. :icon17:

Sleep in the middle of the bed-eat and read w nobody to interrupt you-listen to "girl" radio-lol! Possibilities are endless! :hello::tup: start checking into classes tonight-it will keep u busy-Till u hsve had more practice at "alone" ;)
