I would look at sport sedans.
My guess is I won't use the backseats very often but I'd like em in an emergency or to take friends in.

You'd sacrifice buying a Z because you can't haul around a few friends?

I've actually come to enjoy the lack of passenger space in the Z. Passengers do a good job of ******* up interiors, in the Z there's only enough room for you and your lady friend.

I agree. And my lady friend hated the car at first because of it being impractical compared to other options, but now that she has ridden in it 100+ times she said it makes her feel sexy and now she wants a PW 7sp sport this november. I have my work car, then I have my fun car. She will soon have the same.

The only one thing i regret about the Z is not having a small 3rd seat for my 1 year old son...we have a 2012 Optima Turbo for family outings but sometimes i wish we could take the Z out as a family..but not possible..only good for me,dates with the wife(rare occasion with 1 year old),thats why i look forward to one day getting a GTR,wife in the front, son in a Recaro in the back...family roadtrips on a monthly basis

The 370Z is not the right car for the OP. No point in discussing this further.
