84-96(99): v6tt available [that is 12 years, depending on how you count]

03+: NA V6 is the only option [10yrs and counting]


The NA v6 only is certainly not the way the z car has been the majority of it's run.

he never said NA v6 only (perhaps implied though?)

technically:
69-83: I6 (14 yrs)
84-96: v6 (12 yrs) & v6tt (12 yrs)
03-13: v6 (10 yrs)

22 yrs of NA v6, vs 14 yrs of I6, and 12 yrs of v6tt

Considering he was arguing with someone who was speculating that the next z might be TT, I'd say it was definitely strongly implied.
