Mr.kenchan, the Malibuuu is excellent!! I suggest we all should try it once, you know, especially the rental type that has no option and stinky :ugh2:

Once you've tried a Maliboouu, you will become a better person, cos you will keep on telling yourself, "Work hard, make good money, don't make yourself have to drive one of these EVER!!!"

Good Morning all. :tiphat:

Shado, what are doing up before Happy? Did you ever go to sleep last night, or are you just getting back from an extended tire test? :icon17:

Good weekend for cars - NASCAR at Texas, IndyCar at Long Beach, Nismo Fiesta in San Antonio, and the Mecum Auction here in Houston.

Have a good day all! :hello:

shadoquad 04-13-2012 07:09 AM

Morning, Gurney man.

I went to sleep, but woke up at 6:30, unable to fall back asleep. So, I figured why not go into work?

Good morning everyone! Let's make it a great Friday. :hello:

EazyD 04-13-2012 08:46 AM

Brought my Z in to the dealer because they have a paintless-dent-removal guy there today to fix my door ding.

I have a question I posted in the Detailing section of the forum re: rock chips, if anyone has advice for me (hint: i don't think I want to try Dr. Colorchip, I'd probably mess it up. 2 rock chips on a white car on the front fender near the headlight)

Scorpio0124 04-13-2012 08:58 AM

Good day for a wash & wax :)

Alchemy 04-13-2012 09:02 AM

Onzedge, how was your Koni install?? Did you encounter any unexpected hiccups??

The dr colorchip looks pretty fool proof from the application vids I have seen.

m4a1mustang 04-13-2012 09:05 AM

Dr. Colorchip is fantastic! Reminds me I need to order a kit for the Honda.

But does it look seamless? (as opposed to sanding the entire fender and fixing and clearcoating)

Also, would I use the Dr. Colorchip paint or use the paint pen the dealer gave me? (pearl white car)

It depends on how deep the chip is. In my experience the paint is mixed perfectly, so it matches the factory stuff just right. With light, small chips you can get a seamless repair. With deeper stuff that goes down to the metal... not so much. You can layer it up but you're really just making it so that you don't notice the chip unless you are actively looking for them.

Gauge 04-13-2012 09:12 AM

If it's just paint dmg and not an actual scratch on the surface of your bumper as well, just use Dr. Color Chip. I'm actually planning on using my Dr. Colorchip kit tonight on a rather large chip on my front bumper, I'll take pics for you and let you know.

Also, why do car parts have to be so expensive... so much I want to do, so little money I have :'(
