What did you do with your Z today III

I did something very exciting today with my 370; something very exciting indeed. I drove to the office, parked it and then, about 9 1/2 hours later...

Ready for it?

I drove it back home.

You know..I'd mention this each time I did it..but you guys would get bored hearing about it!

I do truly wish that it was only a once in a while treat, and I had another vehicle as a DD.

I had another DD for many months. Every time I went to work in the Jeep I wished I was driving the Z. That and always reaching for the clutch pedal and almost screeching to a halt

Yeah, I always have to rest my hand on the huge clunky auto shifter on the console of the wife's Xterra. I HATE driving automatics.

Why do you need to use doc when you send out your projects? Does someone else need to edit them? If not, generate PDF, and send that. I don't know of any other solution other than running MS Win and Word in a virtual machine.

ahh, i will check that out linux software next time on the machine.

yep, i get drafts in doc format, i proof them, and send back in doc format to be published by my customer. otherwise yes, i would use pdf instead.

Nevertheless, I'm curious about the type of documents that these are. Sometimes, customers think that they need Word when they don't ... but path of least resistance, and all. I understand.

Picking up the car tomorrow from dealer. Been there since last Thurs. Sure gonna miss the Versa........not.

I'm taking my car to the dealer for them to look at my fuel gauge problem. I'll bet if they do anything they'll update the ECU, Then I'll have to reload my Uprev ROM after I get home, and start the process all over again.

I sure wish that red silicone tubing in the engine bay retained its red color, instead of washing out to pink.

That information, while not entirely surprising, has somewhat bummed me out. It may be cheap to put in, but what's the point of the effort if it's going to have to be re-done seven months down the road. (*sigh*)

Well good morning my fellow Z enthusiasts!

Enjoying my first cup of coffee on the back patio, while watching the pups do their thing. It's a wee bit cloudy this am so I cannot see the newly risen sun. Oh well, at least it's nice and cool outside still. Soon the summer heat will keep my morning coffee enjoyment indoors.
