Yep -- 6 Z's total at the house. My wife is at a conference this week, so no one got any of her "stinkeye" :icon17: for the constant (and sometimes unnecessary) engine revving and lawn parking.

BTW: The 240Z still has the best exhaust note of all.

For the record, Mrs. Dr. onzedge is amazingly tolerant of my shenanigans -- all the more reason to love her as much as I do. The first reason, of course, is that someone like her would want to be with someone like me.

Every now and then, though, I can get the "look".

That's a prerequisite for the Old Fart Club. You're fitting in just fine

Damn that sux Srenity! Does insurance not cover windshield replacements in CA? Here in Florida we don't pay anything to have them replaced.

happytheman 04-23-2012 11:25 PM

I rarely find the time to post while at work. That's why I'm always power reading 10+ pages. :)

Doing ok, now that I've got a running Z.

Well yeah Insurance pays but the deductable is about as much as the window. It is all about how your insurance is set up.

:icon17: I'm supposed to finally find out if I get this portfolio management job I've been gunning for for a couple of years now. If I do it means I'm in for a huge raise over where I am now. I'll give up my fancy Director title and corner office at my current place of employment, but I don't care, I'm after the green! :yum:

Good Morning all! :hello:

Happy - coffee PUHLEASE!

Got the Z back on Thursday, and I'm very happy with the look of the 10mm spacers on the rear. Baker Tuning did an excellent job re-painting the front bumper and replacing the various damaged parts. The car looks brand new again. See picture below.

I get to park the Z this week as Mrs. Gurney is on a girl trip to La Jolla, so I get to power through Houston in her MDX. I'm still seriously thinking about getting either a daily driver for me; i.e. Honda Fit, or buying the Mrs. a new CR-V and keeping the MDX for myself (more likely scenario). Driving around downtown Houston in the Z can be nightmarish sometimes; some of the streets look like a mortar field.

Have a great day guys.

Thanks! If it wasn't for a little compliance issue I would definitely have it... but because of compliance it's a little 50/50. :icon17:

Good morning to the Z crew and fellow members of the OFC :hello: let's seize the day!

Ran my Z to the dealership, getting my fuel senders replaced today. Took the techs some nice donuts too. I know when I was in similar type of work, the little things like donuts were always appreciated.
