Uh oh... ur car OK, fire?
looks like he got the boot pretty quickly...only took 4 posts. well first he called out the vendor for posting a link (which was a simple accident). He went on to make it personal and say the vendor is bad. Then he went ahead to talk about how carbon fiber steering wheels equals rice and blah blah blah (usual trolling). THen when someone asked him to leave he went on to say something along the lines of "a Z owner that drives an automatic", and made a personal joke.

All this coming form a guy who had 4 posts total and his current car said....maxima.

Ken just to go back to some stuff you mentioned like mounting the cam on the car. This is my rig, sort of a dif spin on Steve's setup

Now I use the mic mount off that handle apparatus, which is called the Opteka X-Grip. I bought it for like $15 or something. Great for handheld applications. So this is the mount removed

This is it mounted under the rear fog. The little fastener that holds the bumper down underneath the fog is popped out and the mount is installed there

And finally with the mic attached.

I like and dont like that the mic is battery powered. BUT I wouldnt want it running off of my GoPros power since the cameras battery already doesnt last as long as Id like. I have ran the mic for a total of at least 5 hours now and the batt is still fine. I ordered 2 extra when I got it for only a few bucks.

mr.gale- nice! lol @ sneaky... but if you take vids of you taking it out of the box and re-boxing, i think she's going to find out, i think....

that's one of the many things im going to be using my hero2 for... timelapse camera need to find who is messing with my plants! hahaha

i was looking at brinno and other timelapse cameras and though, wth, just kill 3 birds with one stone using the hero2. i like taking down birds.

hahaha, i ready spent $2k+ this month on car stuff (droid4, nuvi & accessories, hands-free bt module, hero2, accessories) so im out. good thing i 'saved up' on many purchases i didn't do earlier this year.

im also happy that gas prices arent' $5/gallon as my budget was set at for this season. i can put some of that back into my car fund.

thanks for the input, redzed. i suppose if im only going to do 30fps, i can use R2... i will have to try both R2 720/30fps and R3 720/60fps.

thanks, mr.alchemy! damn, that's a nice setup. i know now i need to get one of those handle and more brackets and stuff for sure.

i see that the snowboarders are using a small mono-pod. i was thinking about doing something like that when im making short clips.
