hi mr.gale! i decided not to get the 2595LTM yesterday cause it does not support ecoRoute (OBD2 monitoring)... so i ran my 1490LTM today in the Z. it paired up with my droid4 nicely for phone. for my G, i think im going to get the motorola roadster2.

mr.happy- good to hear you're finally done with the ordeal yet again. you're like a regular now with the wheel repair guy. hahaha

hey pint- that looks good!

the drive in the Z this am was fantastic. i got cut off by some ricor-fart-racing-car-looking-pos-miata-im-going-to-racing-juu-big-ego-but-still-an-idiot, but didnt bother me. i would not want to be driving that noisy thing on weekends. lol

Turns out there is a rather large ding where the paint went down and it now shows like a sore thumb. He offered to fix it but since I might be upgrading to a kit at some point, I said fvck it. You can only notice it from just the right angles. Also, the spot under the fog light was missed and I wasn't able to get a pic of it after it was corrected. I'm happy with it for now.
Looks great Pint! The rear shot with your exhaust

You can try 99% alcohol, look it up in the pharmacy department, or nail polish remover.

That sounds like it should work. Good luck Pint. Sorry to hear about the paint.

-------------------------------------------------------

Nick, Ive never heard of that before. It sucks when you have something intermittent like that because it makes it so hard to troubleshoot.

Just checking in. Taking a Break from correcting the Z. I was hoping I could get away with a one step but my PO106FA just isn't enough to meet my standards. Looks like a two step will work. Did a test spot with D300 on a MF cutting pad, followed up with the PO106FA on an Über green pad, this is the combo.

Have a great day guys, I'll be in the garage if you need me.

Quick post before I have to get off the computer. Just got to my fiance's house with my Z. beautiful day, but I'm not sure if any of you remember me talking about this problem a few months ago...

I'm sitting waiting at a light, car in neutral. Lights about to change, I clutch in, put in first. Car begins to rev to 5k RPMS without touching gas pedal. Stays there revving. I put my car into neutral release the clutch, still revving... clutch in a few times. Still revving, turn off the car, turn back on(while still in traffic), still revving. Finally after I lift my foot off the break pedal it stops revving. Keep in mind it didn't start till the initial clutch in and then didn't stop until my foot was off the break. My foot was no where near the gas and my mats don't even touch the gas pedal. I have to bring it into nissan to get it checked out.

It's not something that I can recreate as it's happens randomly. It probably won't happen with SRM off(only assuming). but regardless it's not acceptable even if it just happens with SRM on.

Give it a try by driving with the SRM off and see will that happen, if it doesn't happen then probably it's a glitch within the SRM program.

GL!!

I love using the Z for odd utility transport We have a very small firm - 4 people - and no official IT support. I am the Guy Friday and just so happens that I am computer hardware and software savvy.

That sucks man. I have to think that its related to SRM. Did you try turning off SRM while it was reving? I wonder...
