 have a nice rest of your stay in reno. :hello: lol at financial donations. :rofl2:

This is shaping up to be an all about Z day:
-Debating on whether or not to go buy screws/washers for seat mod. Don't want to deal with Saturday shopping crowds though.
-Need to figure out what to do with the stock cat back.
-Need to find a way to drain some oil without having a set up at home. Grr.
-Taking her to get washed and interior cleaned after the sun goes down.

Ms.Pintsize725, the exhaust sounds great!!:tup: Congrats on your first mod!!!

Why didn't you have the mechanic to drain some engine-oil for you??

OFC!!!

I asked them if they could and I'd pay whatever charge but he said they would prefer not to. I would have to get a complete oil change for them to touch it. I'm just going to let it ride, I know I'm not over more than 1/3 of a quart.

kenchan 05-05-2012 01:39 PM

hey there, mr.alcheng! yah, it's going to rain probably here on monday as well, but washed my G anyways. hope to pull her out for a short errand this pm. sucks if i wash and got rain on without driving clean. :icon17:

Hello fellow z lovers! Just Got back from supercar Saturdays (big car show with lots of exotics, muscle cara, sports cars) was good turnout but rain and cold weather were.annoying. weather people said 78 and sunny today. It was raining and 55 :( but the z magically stayed clean! Also I detailed my engine bay and I must say I competed well with the big boys

Hi Mr.alcheng :hello: It's a stellar day today. I'm getting the ground work done for my interlocking brick project. I'll have the base finished today, ready for brick next week. Really need to get out in the Z today.

I see... oil change shouldn't cost to much but I wouldn't do it either if I was you.... :ugh2:

Hopefully you can drain some later on today... though I bet you must be too busy checking out and revving up the exhaust right now, LOL

Installed splitter rods, APR carbon fiber GT3 mirrors, APR carbon fiber Gurney Flap, Shine Auto rear splats. Pics to come later tonight in my journal.

Again I'd like to thank my sponsor APR Perfromance for all these parts. When installing these carbon fiber products the quality is perfect. The way the weave is laid is so nice. I couldn't find one area where the CF was pulled or stretch.

I'm so glad I decided to make this the first mod. I was in front of the auto shop when I heard it turn on and could not stop smiling. Took a very spirited drive home to enjoy it.

I need a better way to capture it, but here's a really crappy video taken by the spouse:
Nissan 370Z Fast Intentions Catback Exhaust with 18" Resonators - YouTube

There's only one issue.......and maybe you guys can give me your opinion.
Since I bought used, the heat wrap was not included of course. The shop used this instead: Amazon.com: Silver Heat Protector Insulating Fire Sleeve Spark Plug Wire Boot 8 Cyl: Automotive to protect two lines. each one was about 6 inches in length. Do you guys think this is adequate enough?

That's funny right there! You punched the accelerator and came! :icon18:

I'm so happy to hear that Tracie!
