Quick question for the OFC or more knowledgeable car guy: What other fluids/parts get inspected when you bring your car to a Nissan dealership for an oil change? (Feel free to direct to me an existing thread. Thanks)

typically steering fluid, brake fluid, clutch (if manual), blinker fluid, coolant, washer fluid, tail lamp fluid.

disclaimer: 2 dont belong in the list above. :p

The place just called and said it would be $500 for the bumper and 8 inches of the hood and partial fenders.
I do like that the bumper and hood won't rust if I get chips there ;) (am I right about the hood?)

Ps- I like that this thread is lively.

my car was feeling sluggish, so I checked the blinker fluid and it was very low. I added some high performance SLTR5000 fluid and now the car runs better than ever. I think it actually added hp.

mr.zforce- i run S04's on my G. 245/35/19 and 275/35/19. they are FANTASIC tires...they grip very well wet or dry..and are quiet, great looking, sidewalls are :yum:, made in japan, and so far wearing very well.

the only down side is weight. thing weighs a ton (31-32lbs) vs the PSS (25-27lbs).
PSS are made in USA  and France. as a consumer it is my duty (lol) to try to buy only american (canadian, mexican included per NAFTA), japanese, or french. only reason why i included french is not because of cheeze fries, but cause nissan's top guy is a french guy. :icon17: hahaha (and i want to try pss :p ).

Mr. kenchan, thanks for the info....heavy indeed. I am still on the fence with the PSS, but may give them a go. My RE-11's tread is running low 12k + miles. Thought I needed another alignment because they have running rough, but Colin (mr. onzedge's son - master mech) informed me on Sunday when he drove the car that Bridgestone redesigned them a few years back and when they wear to a certain point the have a second compound that is a rougher ride but wuill give the tire some extra life. Cheeze Fries...haha.. :bowrofl:. and to add to the list:french fries, french dressing and perrier.

aha, if you are already running RE11's and are happy with them, then the weight shouldn't matter to you because the S04s are within 1lb.

ahhhh, i 2 layer compound makes sense. i hear track guys sometimes have the tires turned before use so that they minimize squirm. :)

Tail lamp fluid must be DOT 4....otherwise it will not burn holes in the skull of the crazy behind you flashing their hi-beams.
