I'm too biased to give a reply. ;)

Well it only took 2 months of ownership. Came out to my car today and there is a nice scratchy on the rear right fender. I hate people so much sometimes. I don't understand how this happens so frequently. At least once a year someone does this to what ever vehicle I own. I even park way out in the boonies pretty much all the time. Today I was parked a mile away from another car yet somehow this happens. I don't understand.

kenchan 06-07-2012 08:11 PM

People suck. They actually come out to people's cars parked out into the distance and do it on purpose.

Nobody messes with my 1999 F-150. It isn't worth the trouble, but Jealous people will mess up your nice car just out of hate, and envy..:mad:

I'm so sorry to hear about the atrocity that has happened to your ride. What's it going to take to get it repaired? :crying:

Then work for it, I am :D

alcheng 06-07-2012 10:30 PM

It is a lose-lose situation, if we park our Z within the crowd, we get dents by the a$$-O next to us... :shakes head:

If we park alone so far away, our Z (which are mostly in freaking shiny and good shape) just stand out very much thus attract other a$$-O..... :shakes head:

But still, I always do the latter, park it as far as I can.... :icon17:

I think I'm gonna pass on that Stillen exhaust..... ;)

The size of the resonators dont change the loudness or sound on the outside right? Just drone and resonance>?

happytheman 06-07-2012 10:59 PM

Nope, sorry man..

18" Resonator - Low growl, low drone - can hear it just fine outside!
12" resonator - some drone, louder outside.
No resonator - definite drone between 2-3.5k rpm, quite loud outside.

That's pretttty much it in a nutshell!

And by the way..the 18" resonated is definitely louder than stock. Mild when cruising, mean when you put your foot in it!

I am also looking at the Invidia Gemini, like the sound of it too, and more on my budget now... have to wait for another 6 months or more (cos winter is coming then) if I go for the FI..... :ugh2:

happytheman 06-07-2012 11:23 PM

What's your budget range Alcheng?

my budget is around $1000 to $1200(max) if I buy it now.

Can go up to $1600 maybe 6 mths later after some more saving.

Dont want something too loud but a nice drone, and so far the Invidia and FI are my liking… :yum:

happytheman 06-07-2012 11:53 PM

I see used FI going for $1000-$1200 all the time. :)
