i think i may scrap the entire nismo wheel thing all together and do a near-square setup on my car. :p

checking with my buddy right now over at tirerack. :excited:

square setup ftw.

ZMan8 04-26-2012 10:36 AM

what are the benefits of a square setup, besides being same size tires/ being able to rotate wheels.

265/35/19 and 275/35/19 is my target right now.

would run 19x10 on the fronts 19x10.5 on the rear. :yum: then decide if i want to do the koni's

turning capability mostly. it will increase drag and possible tramlining... so im going to source a very conservative setup on the front ET40 and work myself outward using spacers. :)

 I think most that run such a wide wheel/tire in the front use an offset of ET35 or E40. I think those TE37 Time Attack Wheels are ET35 as well.

yah, imho our Z's for front should be running ET30 and higher but due to most vendors wanting to sell as well to the G35/350Z/Genesis (?) fanclub + bbk clearance, they always source the agressive sizes... :ugh2:
