This all could have been avoided if the Envoy was equipped with Super Sports.

I had not considered that. I believe you may be correct. The reduced stopping distance the Pilot Super Sports (by Michelin) provide would have made the difference between a near miss and tragedy.

PSS Alert!

my 275 DW's appear much wider than the RE050's in the same size. even so, on 10.5" width wheels they have stretch. not a hellaflushatoilet stretch, but a sports car stretch.

Yeah, I think Im just gonna order another pair of 295/30's even though the rear sidewalls are smaller than my fronts. What are negative points to this, if there are any??

Other than appearance (if it bugs you) I can't think of any. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Texas NAZI about emissions?

*shrug*

I just know that there are shops around here that you can easily convince to get you an inspection sticker if your car would fail. :p

You might have read this on another thread but me and a few friends (Super_RedZ and BeeMaaZ) went to the Motorsport Z-Car West Coast Nationals this weekend. Great event, met several cool guys and had a really fun day. It was great to see Zero also, thanks for the additional pics!

The day ended to all of our surprise when they called my name for 1st place of the 370Z stock division. I posted a few pics from the day but check out the thread http://www.the370z.com/southern-cali...29-2012-a.html to see more.

Congrats on the trophy :tiphat: I grew up in that area and have since moved to NorCal 24 years ago. Been wanting to go to this, event of the year for West Coast peeps but agan this year had a setback and hopefully next year. I was just looking on our club FB page and saw the group shot of the winners. You are posing next to a buddy of mine who's 280Z Mach II is in one of your other photos. It's the spiderman Z. I bet it was tough judging on the stock cars, they have to be very clean and detailed. We had 5 club members place from NorCal. Nowhere near the amount from SoCal but then again..three times the peeps down there.

This all works, unless that shop gets found out. Or a cop with a keen sense of smell (and by that, I mean he can smell ANYTHING since its obvious as hell) decides to pull you over.

Federal fine for that can be pretty hefty...just watch yourself /shrug. Granted, just by swapping to HFC's I broke federal law, but I'm sure you get my point :-p

That's usually easier to complete with: Donuts + Coffee + Pretty Girl + Sexy Car a.k.a Z .

Me, too. I have classic Flu symptoms. :( I've been trying to sleep it off. I felt miserable for most of today. However, I'm feeling a little better now.

So the deal is set to go for tonight. Does this sound too good to be true: FI TDX w/ 18" Res and carbon fiber for $1100? What sort of issues do I need to check for? Once again, my apologies for the noob questions.

Wait, what? No long tube headers? For $1100? Unless its pretty much BNIB I don't really consider that to be a great deal. Are they paying for shipping?

sounds about right for a used CBE. Just check for dents/scratches in the CF mufflers, scratches on tips, dents on the pipes if they are minor, negotiate. The FI exhausts are made from 304 SS so there shouldn't be rust on them.

I dunno man, but I see the FI going for ~$900-950 all the time.

I'm pretty sure TGO is lowered on Teins which are supposed to be a really mild drop.

mr.alcheng, if you do plan to use open lugs and sandwich a 5mm spacer, i highly recommend the muteki steel lugs. duraliumium ones are imho too soft to do anything other than full thread. :)

What wheel are you running Mr. Alcheng?

It's a local deal, he's supposedly only had it for two months, same cbe would be $1675ish direct from FI. Now you have me second guessing it.
