When I had wheels on my civic I had to have them serviced, I would cover them completely with blue painters tape. Mr.alcheng, the weather is starting to shape up here. The air was so brisk that I thought we were getting snow this morning. Now the sun has come out. Sharpened my lawn mower blade and gave the lawn a cut. Might take the Z out for a quick drive later.

Mr.kenchan, I'm going to have to keep an eye on my Prima Hydro. Weird that you found black stuff in there. Also I'll have to try ut the RC motor cleaner, it has never crossed my mind. Good idea

Also, straight from Tony: it's much easier to upgrade in the future than to find out it's too loud and try to downgrade.

also, what are you looking for as far as sound?

Definitely something to consider for me. I'm ok with semi loud but doubt the neighbors would be. As far as sound, I want something that sounds better than the spouse's 350Z.

When I'm cruising through my neighborbood, I keep it in third and <2k rpm. It's a subtle purr at that range.

What exhaust is your spouse running?

His is just stock but it sounds so much nicer than mine. I can barely hear anything when I'm driving. It's disappointing. I think I'll ask Tony to requote for the 18" then and then try to get the deposit going.

our exhaust is louder outside than inside. but you're correct that the 350 had a better, louder note (IMO). 18" will get you much better, and much more louder than 350Z.
