Thanks. I did not really mold anything in place. I used the shroud off of a navi model center console and cut the bottom part off. To attach the screen I used the bracket from the navi model that holds the stock screen in place. Since they are Double DIN sized it was pretty easy to match up. I am not sure how to do it with a tablet since they are not all standard sized. I would think you would have to mold something out of fiberglass for that recessed look with a tablet.

why not install a 7" android it will look very futuristic with all the touch screen controls on the bottom !

There are apps which can read your OBD2 info which can be helpful.
From water temps, digital speed gauge (I know some 350z guys miss that), and more.
I went a different route and bought an HKS Camp 2 so I could read things which OBD2 does read plus more.
