Did you even look at the driver's bolster?

I mean, IMO, the 370z's interior is far better, but showing how your corvette seat wore is not going to prove a point...also, the Z seats are leather-faced vinyl like the ones in the vette....
My 370Z seats look nothing like the one pictured. I was hoping you wouldn't see that :P

Import banks are not really giving when it comes to loans on used cars. It's much easier to finance $56,000 for a new car than it is $50,000 for a used.

As I've said before I do like the C6 Vette. I've owned Vettes and Camaro's in the past. I had a 69 Stingray vert, 350hp/350ci with a 4 speed and I installed a supercherger myself. Loved that car it was old school bad *** LOL

Not really. Within the last few years, it's all the same. Same interest rate, etc. Maybe try another bank? I joined a CU and love it. They would finance a 2010 model car right now at the same rate they financed my Z, I believe. Maybe even a 2009.

So I looked up the ZL1 just cause I haven't seen anything for the GT500. Well a fully loaded ZL1 goes for $58k.

Everyone seems to think the next Gt500 is gonna come in around $55k to $60k.
I guess the big difference between the 2 is gonna be HP vs IRS. Do you think 80 HP overcomes IRS?

I think the ZL1 will def. out handle the GT500. I'm not sure how many times the ultimate higher hp or top speed will come into play. I will let you guys know once I have my ZL1 and a GT500 shows up to a track day I'm at.

Curb weight. 4120 vs. 3850 isn't insignificant.

LOL, you're asking a bunch of Z owners for an unbiased opinion on whether or not to trade your Z.

The power to weight of the ZL1 is 7.1 lbs to every 1 HP and the GT500 is 5.9 lbs for every 1 HP.

The GT500 may have a SRA but it has less weight to deal with around the corners and more HP to through at the next straight.

Still hard to ignore that the ZL1 crushed the last GT500's time at VIR (the time Ford supplied that noone could equal...) by over 5 seconds.

It beat the GT-R's best lap anyone has recorded, as well, while it was at it.

Meh we'll wait and see what happens. My guess is the Camaro will be the best car for people that want the Camaro and the GT500 will be the best car for people that want the GT500. Funny how things work out that way.

Thanks for posting the laps of VIR Import. As I said before the ZL1 is a total package not just one nice part. A short throw shifter, D shaped steering wheel, of course the supercharger, liquid to liquid inter cooler, oil cooler, trans and rear end inter cooler/warmer, electromagnetic shocks with 5 presets from wet roads to racetracks, integrated aero pieces including under hood air extractor, under body belly pan, vacuum operated exhaust by-pass, Baer 6 piston front/4 piston rear calipers, two piece rotors. Thats a package made for those of us that are seeking performance driving and are willing to pay a fair price for it. As I posted before I'm looking forward to track days with GT500's, GT-R's, ZO6's, Ferrari's, Lambo's all the high performance cars. Do I think that my car will be the fastest, hell no but it will be fast and I will enjoy my time going to the track and on the track.
