That Camaro is awesome man! Best of all, no emissions or other BS to deal with so you can do whatever you want! I may build something like that one of these days, drop a modern motor in it with a blower and go to town.

My buddy just bought a 69' Z28 95% finished for $24K. All he has to finish is the interior which was included with the car new in boxes. That's the way to do it. He sold a 2008 Z06 and took a $30K hit...he said never again will he fool with a newer car. The Camaro will appreciate instead of depreciate.

Here's some of the Challenger:

Nice, even if it is a Dodge. J/K.

Supercharger Speedy...

Nice pictures... Sweet Car....

I see the Drag Tires on the back...Serious business there...

Thanks, I love my car and what I have done, is done right..

I still have things to do on the inside, but it is Track ready for the Autocross or the road course...

Your friend did a good thing.. Cars are not selling for what they used to ,due to the economy...It is still a soft market, and he got a great deal...It will only go up from here..

Thanks. It's a fun and very comfortable car. I've gotten it to run 11.19s at 125 - 128 in the quarter. Gets 20 city and 24MPG hwy to boot.

Dodge's are just so hard to work with though. Very little after market support and the tuning is a major PITA. For 2011 and up they've encrypted the PCM so no tuning AT ALL on those. Dodge are a bunch of idiots and really pissed off the enthusiast community.

Nice Times... That will get your blood going.. And you look like you have the smarts and the shop too. SWEET.. And the MPG

My first step was to do the brakes and the suspension, ect...You know, do the right steps first and then go back to the engine ...The car is now set up for massive HP with the subframe connectors, ect...

So now with a full Hotchkis set up and massive Willwoods, ect.., I am looking to S/C my LT-1 .. It has the flattops and bulletproof parts, so I may try the 125HP charger..I need more HP to run with the new cars..

And I want to leave the factory Corvette engine since I have all new exhaust and MSD parts..

If not a S/C, then higher compression and a bigger cam...Running a comp cam 280H now, but it only runs low to mid 13's..@ 108. I now know the car will handle much more HP.. It will never get good gas mileage unless I go with an LS.

I have dreams of a new style ZR-1 or ZL-1 engine, but that would take a wad that I should not spend..It would not be financially smart...

But I spent my camaro wad of money for now... The wife had a paid off 350Z, but since I went crazy on my car, I had to put 20K down on the 370Z to make the payments low... Happy Wife, Happy Life..

So went the Interior money and my HP boost...

What heads are you running? I have the CC Magnum 280. Combined with the AFR 195 Eliminators the car is now a rocket. Highly recommend the AFR's. The best that's out there for a reasonable price.

Hey there.. I am running the LT-1 2.02 Heads. They are the Stock big valve heads with some machine work.

They come from the factory with guide plates and screw in studs, ect...

It comes on about 3000 to 3500RPM and pulls hard to redline 6500rpm..

You can really feel it..I also went with the 1.52 Roller rockers...

Engine has 20K Miles on it, so I may need to freshen it in the next few years...

Yeah, supercharge that thing and you should get way more than 125HP. The LS engines seem to respond favorably to forced induction. You could get real serious and slap some twin turbos on there and make some fantastic power, but it'll be a bit more pricey.

I went the opposite, I did the motor and blower first then did the rest of the car to handle (almost handle) it. I spend a lot more time driving on the street than I do the strip, so it wasn't a huge deal which way I went first.

Yes, I may just S/C my small block..The shop that does my work is just finishing a dual turbo LS custom 69, but it is a six figure car..He builds SEMA cars, and mine is a mild build, haha..

I don't see me LSing or 6 speeding the car for now..

But with the Flat top pistons I think I can get away with Super charging it..And I can leave my new exhaust alone.

I also had 40 year old suspension and brakes, so I had to start there...Sure I could have gone back stock and saved 15K, but what fun would that be ? Now it is high end and ready for anything I want to do with it.. Just need more power now..400HP does not cut it ,in the modern world..Back in 1985, I was king...not anymore. Yet...
