I know things have changed as Nissan is not really cranking out Z's anymore but I got both my 370z's for way under MSRP. In 2009 when the Z was just coming to dealers I special ordered my 09 touring sport yellow 6-speed. Got it for 500 under invoice. Sadly a year and a half later she was totaled and I replaced her with a 2010 Nismo. My Nismo had a sticker price of 45k. They had a 2500 dealer mark up for being a Nismo as well as charging extra for window tint, window etchings, door guards. It took 3 weeks of negotiating but I got the car for 35k and change. They kept telling me it's a Nismo and that it's a hot item but after 3weeks of not moving the car, with them also knowing I had a 800+ credit score and money to go with it they caved. If you aren't in a rush then time is on your side to get the deal you want.
With regards to the mustang, it's hard to pass up. Superior in acceleration and just as good through the corners and typically cheaper to buy and easier to find. The only downside I see with them is that they are freaking everywhere. Every time I get an itch to even go check the 5.0 out I force myself to count how many mustangs I see on a simple 5mile drive. Usually it's 20+ and gets rid of my itch for a stang. Still, unless Nissan announces something in the next year or so about a 2014 Z that is drastically better I'm probably going to another car. I mean I'll still have my 280z and 300zx so it's all good |

Yeah, I'm not in a a hurry. The 302's are going for way more then msrp from what I hear online. Which is a no go for me. And the Gt500 with some options is close to 60k. At that price I can think of a few others I'd buy. Anyways... I'm ask around and see who really wants my money. I really like the pearl white. But black with some red racing stripes sound hot too.

They're giving you 2k over on your trade because your car is very rare... they can still budge on the price of the Z. But if you have been making your frustration as obvious to them as much as you show us??? They won't budge on the price. But if they think you have decided on something else... they may strive to give you at least $750-1000 off msrp. If not? At least get your accessories and oil changes free... point is, you can still get more. |

At first I was very happy with it as my past cars did not have systems worth writing home about (except I did have boston Acoustic components up front in the Lancer) So I was very happy with my Bose with stock sub etc, but lately I've wanted more sound...Love the Nav/Integrated features system though, so I guess its the trade off

DLS, BA, Rainbow, Focal, and jl make great speakers for cars and you can integrate them into the nav bose, but subs etc, labor will be so expensive. The system is literally grounded into the touring and nav models. |

Well.. I made the plunge, the dealer came back with a deal I couldn't resist.
Moved another 600 off the MSRP and gave me another 2500 for my trade in. Plus he's going to get me the lighted kick plates and the Nismo Floor mats. I feel like i got a good deal. So now to the car heheh Not going to worry about any mods yet. The stereo has to go first. Any recommendations for a double din HU? I'm looking for GPS, Pandora Radio and a Backup Camera are the biggies. I dont care for sirius or XM. I use Iphones. Thought about a Ipad, but havent seen any mods that grab me. Not a huge Android fan.. So I'm thinking I'll probably just stick with a double din HU. I see most people aren't putting in rear speakers. but they are putting in some subs. Any other place to put them other then taking out the spare tire? I'm looking to keep a stock look. And I don't need to blurr my vision with Bass. I'm thinking a nice 8 or 10 with some watts thrown at it with that hatch should sound pretty good. Speakers? looks like Polks? I'd like to keep the whole thing too about 1k if a few extra bucks make a huge difference well then ofcourse. But that's the ballpark im shooting for. Gotta tint the windows too. |

Bose isn't bad for a regular person. The rear subs are a total waste, though.
