The bugs get pretty thick around here in late spring. I know if I take a freshly washed car out on a back country road around this time of year I come back with a mess. They seem especially unruly later in the day towards dusk.

for you guys that think that is a lot of bugs... yesterday as i was pulling out of the parking lot by my house i passed a mustang where you couldn't see the paint through the bugs at all, from one side of the car to the other on the front bumper and part of the hood, solid bugs lol it was ridiculous, like you could see the layers protruding from the bumper it was retarded i dunno where the hell he was drivin but i don't wanna go there lol i shoulda snapped a pic but i never thought to

Did any of those bugs mess up your clear coat at all? I'm taking the Z to northern maine for the 4th of July and the bugs up there are nasty. I have a black car and am paranoid as hell haha.

The paint is fine, but the clear bra has very minor stains in certain light. I know that some of the bug guts are acidic and you're supposed to remove them ASAP, kinda like bird crap or egg....
