Coulda been the uneven pavement, lifted one wheel a bit, open diff spun the tire, tire came down, bit hard and spun the car...
yup. VDC. It's there for a reason! lol but I would definitely be looking in to an aftermarket lsd for your ride! I hate open diffs!

seriously, the open diff should have been LESS likely to cause a spin in this situation since it would not have sent power to the outside rear wheel

I think the combo dirt/dust while down shifting with vdc off on an on-ramp is more then enough to put you into a spin! Hope you can get it all fixed up ASAP

prolly, i turn it off cause the car can get really pissed accelerating over uneven/bumpy surfaces, its kinda annoying. its not like im drifting intersections LOL
