Toyota and Honda might be boring to drive, but they are way more reliable than Nissan and Mazda in general. Of course with everything said, it is still better than Mini or any European cars. Steering lock, probably a valid point. Fuel starvation, not so much, at least in comparison to toyota or honda. They don't have anything that will pull enough G's to induce fuel starvation.
